Chapelle, I have found that rotating between probiotics is a good thing for the body....having many strains in the probiotics is better...at least 14 different strains but I take one that has 40 strains...the healthier my gut, the healthier I will be...I also believe water is so essential...I drink half my body weight in ounces everyday at least...100 ounces per day for me...most people don't drink enough...
You might also consider coffee flushes of the colon...there is special coffee made for this purpose...certainly not regular coffee...these flushes get rid of the bugs that take your nutrition away from you...
Also, hydro-therapy...some lyme patients say this is a must...I have done this and this protocol really assist in moving matter through & out of ones colon...you will feel better too...I usually do a coffee flush & then go & have a hydro-therapy done...good combination...I use fiber in my smoothies & this requires a lot of drinking water...fiber removes toxins...& the hydro-therapy assist in moving all this out of the colon..
Nutrition is a key to probiotics for me...I stop using sugars, very bad for me, using coconut oil now instead of butter etc...instead of cereal in the morning, I now make a smoothie which has 20 to 40 different ingredients...ex. water, maca, greens, hemp seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, ginger, onion, cinnamon, turmirex, banana, beet leaves, sometimes fresh fruit, little honey, fiber, protein, noni, etc., and the best is all organics...to many chemicals in our food system & its chemicals in our bodies that the lyme bugs love too...
