never taking medicine from a regular doc again...(Non lyme/Rant)

I am switching any and all meds doc have and will prescribe me for herbals.Oh im so upset...I was prescribed propanolol for "migraines" because i was diagnosed with a concussion...But when i looked up all the side affects It is possible either i do have something going on and it is just getting worse as time goes on...OR im just getting more and more side effects as time goes on.I sat and thought about it And i really think ive been declining since i started taking it.But its hard for me to tell If thats what it is since i have been feeling so weird for so long.Still gonna go with lyme treatment when it gets here,But think im gonna try n wait a little so i can see if it is the meds making me feel this way first so im not chasing my tail.uggghhhh!! but i am weaning myself off now because if i stop cold turkey i can have a stroke or a heart attack...I cant beleive this.the symptoms are just as long as lyme symptoms...And alot are hand and hand so well see.I will definetly keep you guys updated as you have been so supportive and very good to me the short time ive been here.
Will be continuing my detox to try n get this med out of my system soon.Because its a possibility that i can have withdrawls yay for american medicine...

I completely agree with you! Will only be taking herbs and needed nutrients or minerals! in my opinion, prescription drugs are poisonous.

When you see the commercials on t.v. about the side effects of the Pharma meds...it's almost comical...
they list about 20 different things...and some of them are worse than what you're dealing with...

The propranolol will be my last resort.
I have a few more things to try before that....and I can only do one at a time...so I know what did/didn't work.

I think in my LLND's case - it was something he heard Dr. H. talk about...and is wanting to see how it works.

Since he is a Naturopathic Dr. I don't think he gets an incentive from the Pharma companies. I doubt if he is visited from the Pharma company reps.

I have heard that the MD's get incentives for giving out those free samples they have...not sure if it's true.

N yes propanolol is a catch all drug in my eyes.

I heard there were incentives for trips to Hawaii, too...which wouldn't show up as a monetary amount...those ones are all 'under the table' probably.

I heard of big pharma but never thought it was actually real.I guess the Jokes on me...

I do self trigger point release / partial active release (some is my method that works) for this, with about 75% pain/head tension reduction. Tension on the out side= headache inside.

If your unfamiliar with these types of muscle release, its on You - tube.

Your head has muscles on it, which can cause headaches/migraines just like neck muscles can.

As much as I dont like chemicals, there are not natural herbs for everything unfortunately not everything we need when our bodied fail is naturally available on this earth.

The "anti-drug" mindset is easy to adapt untill you need something that nature never grew.

Once in that position (hopefully not), your opinion can change if you ever feel like working again. I go natural when I can, with herbs ect., but even my so called "natural" pig thyroid is mixed with chemicals in the RX form. I cant really chew on freshly killed pig thyroids (or better yet, human thyroids (Not into cannibalism) in order to function. Yes people can die from thyroid malfunction (organ failure), as well as obviously many more things harder than that on your body. I dont think anyone under 60 will say they'd rather die than take a drug and live longer.

All that said, the medical system is so abused and corrupt it makes my blood boil............

Some drugs are needed. Some of the newer ones appear to be more risky (scary) than rewarding though.

So my llmd is giving til friday to comply or she is pulling scripts...i havent been taking them. The ketoconzole has horrible liver and adrenal impact ...didnt wanna take abx without antifungal. .ah the quandry...i have been treating with herbs and alternative methods...and these infections sx are scaring the bageezers out of me..she gave me baclofan for twitches and havent even taken that...i figure i got x amount of liver enzymes in the bank right?...i dont comply well ...feels like someone is saying do this or else...people cant unflox themselves...thats one on tv now..i got to poo or get off the jon...

Bluelyme - if you don't take everything she prescribes, she won't prescribe anything? Not sure if that's what you're saying.

My Dr. prescribed a few things along the way I didn't want to take...one was a med for acid reflux....I never took it...I used Alka seltzer gold instead and then I switched antibiotics and didn't need it anymore.

I never told him at the time that I wasn't taking it...during my last appt. he asked if I was still taking it and did I need a refill...I said I didn't need anymore because I was off minocycline and the biaxin wasn't giving me a problem. I didn't see the need to tell him that I never took it at all.

I also have a prescription for a new med sitting at the Pharmacy, but haven't gone in to get it...not sure if I will. He won't know unless I tell him. I'm not liking what I hear/read about it...
Eventually I will tell him.

How does your Dr. know you haven't filled them?
