Hello everyone
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Does anyone else get this "C" shaped almost circular raised scab like thing on their skin? I am wondering if this is a reaction to gut issues/leaky gut or if it's Lyme related
Looks like ringworm but it's not my derm tested it but it was negative.
It usually appears when I eat a lot of sugar
Itches like crazy too

Not really sure on the c shape,But my hands were pealing like crazy earlier this year thought nothing of it.N now i have a bunch of little red pin point dots all over me not covering like chicken pocks but like 2 on my fet 1 or 2 on my arms,2 or 3 on my knee type everywere lol.But thats all the skin issues im noticing right now.

the bridge of my nose and under my eyes have gone a splotchy red since i've gotten lyme and a few co-infections. its either the bugs or the abx/supplements i'm on causing it because it never happened in my life before. so yes skin issues can happen as a direct correlation to the bugs.

I've had the c shaped rash on my right side, just below the rib cage. about 3 weeks now. Starting to fade some.
Also noticed the tiny red spots. A few on my face/neck, and a some on my hands.
My hands have been extremely dry for at least 2 weeks.
Any ideas????

So when you guys red spots have you noticed if it's food related? I get these C shaped raised things when I eat sugary stuff.
Sometimes the c closes off and looks like a circle.
I used to be able to eat a ton of sugar but nowadays I try not to eat any that's not naturally occurring.
My hands get really dry too I lotion/oil up a lot and it doesn't get as bad but it's still dry

Bartonella is well known for rashes, but lyme can cause them too. Also, rashes can be a result of an immune response - it is difficult to pinpoint the culprit


the dryness can definitely be due to bartonella OR candida - in my case it is candida, bc i have had this problem for years - the skin on my hands would crack and bleed every winter and be dry all year long. the problem started resolving when i started treating candida.

lymehater does the c shaped rash occur on different parts of your body or the same spot all of the time?

I had the c shape rash on the opposite side in late October 2014. about 3 months before my Lyme diagnosis. Dermatologist said it wasn't anything to worry about. It took 2 months for it to go away. So for me, it has only been on the torso.
I am dealing with candida as well. So maybe that's what it is.
