ACV is Apple Cider Vinegar. I use Braggs as it's the only brand I can get with the "mother" still in it. I use it to help me detox and to increase the amount of stomach acid I have just before I eat.
The 'shot' that's being referred to is like a shot glass - you drink it. Lemon water can be hard on the enamel of the teeth. I have not looked into if ACV is as well, or if it's less harmful though.
I would encourage you to do more than just add in a second bottle of lemon water though. Go over this list and see what you can add in, just remember to never start more than one new thing in any given week - just to be safe.
www.tiredoflyme.com/detox-methods.htmlAndrographis is one of the herbs that Buhner uses to treat Lyme, although he now suggests a different herb as he has found that it's not essential for every person to use it. He has said this: " I just don’t think that andrographis is the most important herb anymore. However, a lot of people experience a lot of help from it and I think it important in this order: knotweed, cat’s claw, eleutherococcus, andrographis. It is useful for chronic lyme, for some people crucially so."
buhnerhealinglyme.com/herbs/andrographis/ As for the candida and whether or not you are dehydrated, most of us drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water a day (some of that is drank as lemon water) - that way you can see if you are close to that kind of consumption. If not, I would encourage you to increase the amount of water you do drink. Staying hydrated is necessary for healing.
Candida requires a special diet to avoid the simple carbs and hidden sugars so that your body can conquer the over growth of yeast in your digestive system. You need to be on a really good probiotic, and may need to be on an antifungal as well depending on how wide spread the overgrowth really is. I like this outline of the Candida diet because it has a list of what to eat and what to avoid:
