Haha, H-Pylori... Now that brings back memories....
Get a stool test. If it's negative, get another stool test later, if the second one is negative, then you don't have H-Pylori, you have "H-Pylori negative gastritis from Bartonella". That's what i had. No stomach issues now here.
Watch this from the pinned time:
/youtu.be/8Rma1co2LCQ?t=174Also, ignore the UBT (breath test) for H-Plyori, it is completely useless for lyme patients. We lymies have some form of SIBO and bacterial/fungal overgrowth all over the place. Your UBT will likely be off the scale, and you will NOT have H-Pylori ! We lymies are not good standard patients for the UBT, nobody researched UBT on lyme patients.
I had very positive UBT test, so my GI dr prescribed me amoxicillin with clarithromycin for 10 days, to get my "H-Pylori infection". Lol. That's when i had my first herx, i got really terrified, i thought im going to die from antibiotic intolerance. But guess what, after 4 days of herxing my "intolerance" started to disappear.
After the H-Pylori "treatment", i got another UBT and it was
three times larger than the first UBT. So my poor GI doctor said "ok ok i give up, u have something else, not H-Pylori, this is not something i see daily"...
I've done 3 stool tests and all negative to H-Pylori, so i knew i don't have it and the UBT was just false positive. Again,
ignore the UBT if you know you have lyme, do the stool testIf you treat your Bartonella infection all your gastritis issues will be gone. But it takes months...
