I don't go on this message board much, but if the only time I go on and give people a peice of advice, which has been scientifically proven to be helpful, (meditation has been proven at MGH (top hospital) to add grey cell matter to the 'happy' part of the brain and to be more powerful than morphine to chronic pain patients, and to be one of the FEW powerful, helpful techniques at our disposal, since we have few resources, of the very few ways to actually improve every symptom, calm the CNS, and repair our bodies, which has been proven, and then some people actually discourage others to do it. You can google it. I don't understand why people would do that. I don't want to come back and comment on anything really lol. It's just kind of annoying.
The endless endless studies from TOP scientists, hospitals and doctors show pain relief and symptom relief from all pain diseases, such as Fibromyalgia, MS, and just regular people who meditate and do yoga. Obviously if you can't do it, don't do it. I don't know why there's so much disouraging. I do wish the Lyme community was a, 'We can overcome!' Community more so. I don't understand discouraging comments. I could see if people said well maybe not in the beginning but Later. Or maybe if you can't do it yet, meditation helps. But certainly some form of meditation or relaxation process has been proven to help a lot. Why not just not comment at all.
