Supplements have dosing instructions printed on the bottle (as in, with/without food and sometimes time-of-day instructions).
When taking larger doses, I've found it beneficial to divide them at least into AM/PM doses.
And, stuff like calcium and magnesium need to be spaced from stuff like thyroid meds.
I actually have a bunch of stuff I take first thing in the morning on an empty stomach....then more stuff I take with breakfast. I have other stuff I take at 11AM (only to space it from my thyroid meds), more stuff with dinner and a few things with my thyroid meds at bedtime.
I use pillminders to keep things straight (and minimize the
opening/closing of a large number of supplement bottles ;)
