Kidney pain anyone?

My daughter has had that! She had it really bad, we did Xrays and CT scans to make sure it was not kidney stones. She was so bad that she ended up in the ER a couple of times. Nothing appeared on any of the scans and her lab work was all normal. As she got better, the pain lessened. Now, she is feeling ill again and it is back. Ugh--HATE LYME!!!!!!!

Strangely enough one of my most severe pains from lyme over the years was a pain in my right upper back/side. I would awake in the middle of the night to role over and not be able to move. I was always holding my side. Its completely gone now but my husband is experiencing terrible pain in the same area. He is suffering from kidney disease but I am thinking it is not the kidney. LLMD says tight muscles. I remember when I was first diagnosed and found "flank pain" as one of the lyme symptoms. Whether it is the kidney or what, IDK but this disease continues to amaze me at the similarities some of us suffer from.

OMG! So glad these posts show up. Exact same thing, holding my right side. CT scan last night to rule out kidney stones - the Dr. said he thought it might be kidney stones. Wasn't that - but just the bladder infection I was being treated for - a really gnarly one.

yep.....gfr even went lower,however,that was probably when the Lyme co infections were hammering my system.....Nephro Dr says i m fighting infections (acute) and they should be ok when the smoke clears.


time will tell

I get this frequently, sometimes severe. LLND checked got infection, nothing.

Maybe detox overload??
