IV Rocephin

Hi everyone, would like to know who has tried IV Rocephin and their outcome; also what else to take to kill the cyst, I don't think Rocephin does it. Maybe do the IV along with oral cyst buster? Read a few post and seems like ppl are doing just the IV Rocephin.

I've been on a month of Rocephin. Fortunately I tolerate ABX pretty well and my liver enzymes actually normalized on it (Lymes was causing high liver enzymes for me). I did herx the first four or five treatments with migraine headaches that happened right after each treatment. Most of my symptoms went away. If I knew what I know now, I would have done more while on the Rocephin, like detoxing, taking supporting herbs, etc...

One thing with IV treatments is the primary danger is line infections. If you have a Med-Line, it isn't as dangerous since the infection usually occurs in your arm, where a PIC line is more dangerous and invasive, since the line is near your heart. Take VERY good care of your line.

Also, if I knew better, taking probiotics long before starting the IV is a good idea. I didn't poop solid for the entire treatment, and then for another week after before getting better.

I don't mean to make it sound scary. It really wasn't bad for me.

Thanks everyone, but if I understand correctly the Rocephin is not usually given in combination with any other antibiotic to kill all Lyme forms?
