Hello, I'm a new member, 21 years old, and would like help with probiotics and advice. I have had Lyme disease for 2 years and I feel I'm getting better, but extremely slowly. I also have hashimotos, Candida, and have a good amount of food sensitivities (Alcat tested). My llmd started me with the parasite protocol and had me go aggressive on antibiotics. My recent meds are:
2 3x/day nystatin
5days / month pulse Xifaxan
1 2x/day ceftin
1 2x/day neomycin
1/4 grain nature thyroid
1 Vitamin k2-45
2 1x/day Gastromend
1 2x/day butyrex
1 1x/day inflammazyme
1 2x/day calcium
1 2x/day amino acid
2 act charcoal
1 3x/day biocidin
3 2x/day - 5 MC bab
2 2x/day Adrenal manager
1 2x/week Diflucan
1 2x/day Tindamax
From my last appt. my llmd felt I still have babesia, that's why she put me on Tindamax. I feel she forgot to give me any sort of probiotics during my course of the treatment. I'm currently taking culturelle. Just recently, She advised me to take bio-k but it has soy in the probiotic and I'm not sure if that's wise to take. I'm very confused with which probiotics to take and want my gut flora to be back on track. I saw a post stating vsl3 is not good bc it has some type of sugar.
Thank you
Please help๐
I have read the latest forums on the many probiotics recommended, but I am still confused as to which brands, strains to use.
