Hey guys,

it's been awhile since I posted. I feel pretty good most days but my fatigue is ridiculous. It's to the point where I have no energy/i'm so tired at work I just sit there doing nothing. I'm so tired I just want to cry. I sleep 7-8 hours every night.

I have to work because I need the money, especially out here in California. But i have no energy, can't stay awake. And when my fatigue is this bad, it's like i feel like i'm living in a dream world, i can't concentrate on anything, it's very strange.

I have no lyme doctor out here because my insurance sucks and i can't afford one right now. I am going to an Urgent care center to get normal blood work done just to check out everything.

I don't know what to do anymore. I cannot handle feeling like this all the time.

For the reasons stated above, some people try herbal protocols.

You are not going to get better without treatment. This is a bacteria, not a virus that runs its course.

I am so sorry. I remember being so very tired. I would sleep all night and take 2 naps during the day. I was wiped out. But, I have always been a sleeper when I am sick. That is my go-to medicine for illness.

There are a couple on here that bought a book and are doing an herbal protocol that way. You could look into that.

You do have options.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried herbal options. I've been diagnosed and treating for 3 years now. I haven't treated with anything though within the past 7 months or so.

I wish I could nap during the day. I go out in my car at my lunch break for a quick cat nap but most of the time it isn't enough.

I've even resorted to drinking coffee which I have never, in my whole 29 years of life have drank before. But then the caffeine makes me start shaking so it's a no win situation.

I am so close to being a herbally cured lyme patient. I basically did it with books, this forum, good health habits and tenacity.

I made so many mistakes doing it on my own, but not any more than a doctor would have. It is all trial and error.

I can't do but 1 cup of coffee in the morning. It not only messes with my nerves but also with my tummy.

Maybe it is time to go back and try those herbs again?? I hate to see you suffer and I would really hate to hear that you are getting worse.

What kind of herbs are you taking? I tried everything from Jernigan's to i forget his name but with Banderol and Samento. I tried infrared saunas, etc..

My lyme is mostly neuro which sucks. I rarely have pain but the fatigue is the worst.

I am doing Beyond Balance that I got from a doctor and I am doing Buhner's protocol.

Kind of overkill, but I want to be well. I don't exactly know what I have as for the cos. I just decided to not take a chance and try and kill them all. The co-infections overlap so much.

I was lucky not to get too much of the neuro but I did do uncaria rhynchophylla for it, just in case it was underlying other symptoms.

Ugh my brain is all crazy today, I can't even comprehend what you are treating with.

Can i buy Beyond Balance online or no? What is Buhner's protocol again?

Beyond balance are herbs made without alcohol and you need a doctor's code to purchase them.

Stephen Harrod Buhner has a lot of books out on lyme and co-infections. I got mine on Amazon. In his book is his protocol.

Between those and this wonderful place with its knowledge I have been treating myself. I was scared and brain foggy but I muddled through it.

I think others may chime in on their herbal protocol.

Traveler, our Queen Mod here, is doing Chronic Tonic and she will have some information on that one.

Ginseng capsules helped me with extreme fatigue. But I needed to make a pause, so now I feel the fatigue again. I am thinking about taking Ginseng again, it really gave me more energy.

I have talked to Traveler before and tried the Chronic Tonic. I've been on this forum for almost 3 years now and feel like i have tried everything.

However, i have never heard of the Ginseng capsules helping with fatigue so I will have to try that.
