I have been using ubi for several years. Built my first machine at the age of 54, am now 66. I didn't really know that I had lymes until a guest speaker on the radio.

At any rate, I have combined ubi wit Dinshah light therapy, am very happy with the results.

The method I do is close to what is written in the book "into the light". This is a safe method used before the proliferation of antibiotics. If you down load a sample of this(free) you will get the idea.

Blood is drawn from your vein and drawn through a uvb/uva light box. It it pushed back passed that light and circulated back into your body. This is done several times. I think in all it is a cup or 250 ml

As I understand it, much like an infant under a uv light works to break down bilirubin, the light sanitizes and energizes the red blood cells. The first few times I woke up the next morning with quite a herx!

I have done several both to jump start my treatment again and wipe clean that which I am dredging up with the bio film busters and Asian herbs.

I hadn't had a treatment in almost a month and last Thursday I did not feel the toxic here like previous times. I feel my germ load is down.

I don't think this is "the answer to Lyme" although it is know to clear up the symbiotic viruses and such. I think you would have to do this daily for this to totally wipe out Lyme.

I'm not sure this is what Claude is doing. Maybe he can comment.

The founder of UBI was a Mr. Knott. He would withdraw the blood, irradiate, then return it to the body.

This was in 1927-1928 before they had antibiotics.

What I do is use fiber optic, put one end on the G14T8 bulb and the other end under the tongue. The blood vessels come to the surface there, so the blood get's irradiated.

This doesn't require a Dr. to insert a needle and remove the blood.

Check UTUBE and you will see a doctor using this on children. drjoseph I believe.

I do 1-2 treatments a week for about 1 minute. The rest of the time I sit under a Dinshah filter.

By the way, the bili light used in neo-natal units is simply a BLUE LIGHT. It has no UV in it. For fun check out BLUE LIGHT kills MRSA.

Seems that 470nm kill the flesh eating bacteria with out UV.

Suggest you look up "DOES DNA EMIT LIGHT".

I have done this I really felt good for a couple days after.
I do this in St. Louis at my doctors office and others there like it also.
I think of this as just another thing to do that will help kill off critters and help
my immune system.
I also get ozone blood treatments-thinking about spending my spring break in St. Louis doing several treatments a day-this would be on of them

This treatment is very new. It does not remove any blood. That is old technology that only irradiates like 10% of your blood. The one I'm doing is brand new (less than a year old) and the light goes directly into your bloodstream, so almost all of your blood gets hit with the light during the one hour. My dr says he is seeing remarkable success.

I'm doing the UVI weekly.... (but no ozone...). My dr said after 25-30 of these I would likely be in remission.

I would get a massive herx at first. Now not so much. I'm having one tomorrow after a pretty rough two weeks, so I'm not sure what to expect. I have an ear problem and I get a slight bit of vertigo afterward. Kind of like car sick. It's an hour away and I can't drive home.

And I've heard of the kind where the light is inserted. Have you two read into the light?

Since I built my own machine, requires a light bulb and some fiber optic I have used the H---- out of it.

What I discovered is that if I stopped using it the problems would return. So I incorporated the Dinshah light treatment with it. I don't know if it's a cure, but eye problems, brain fog, vertigo, and mood has been helped.

When I read Into The Light, I checked and found a place in Mexico that did the treatments. They wanted $150 per treatment, with 15 treatments required. It wasn't so much the money, but the 4 hour drive, crossing the border and dealing with all the hassel. I also thought that it might cost me my job, after all how can you explain all the needle tracks, using an unapproved medical treatment!

I don't know how long it will take to say the word CURE. Dinshah said 1 year of problem took 1 month of light treatment. However, he wasn't using UBI in conjunction with his light treatment!

OK, I have been using the light (under the tongue) for the last 11 years. As I said , I built my own machine.

Purchase a F15T8 GL
OR a G15T8.

G= germicidal
15= Watts put out by the bulb
T= Twin pins as this is a flourensce bulb (sorry for the mis-spellings, but I was an engineer, English major)
8= is the diameter of the bulb. They are measured in 1/8 increments. So 8=1inch

Next, go to wally world and purchase an 18 florensce fixture. about $10.

Remove the cover to the bulb and drill a hole large enough to hold your fiber optic cable. I use a 72 strand cable.

Replace the bulb with the G bulb. You now have the same machine that they are using in the doctor's office for about $30 in cost....sorry, but I do have something in common with the birds. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!

HI everyone - new to the group here but i am having my first UVRLX treatment tomorrow. I've been battling lyme since 2007.

I'll let everyone know how it goes. Thankfully I do live fairly close to my doctor so I will be getting the treatment at least once a week.

I'm very interested in your home light. I'm all about "do it yourself" whenever I can. I have a few questions:

Is there any radiation involved with that?

Can you hurt your eyes with it?

My doctors have been telling me to do the UV for lyme and viruses, but it's so expensive. Is this really equivalent?
