Fix That Heart

I've gotten rid of practically all of my symptoms of Lymes, but the one thing I can't seem to figure out completely is my heart. I was wondering if some of you could chime in who have had heart issues that have alleviated these problems. Let me know what worked for you, such as ABX, herbal stuff, straight up exercise, detox, etc...

My heart issues, besides scary, are just constantly confusing. One day I'm fine, then like three days in a row my heart just races all day. Some days I can eat anything, other days I eat a heavy meal and my heart just pounds for hours. Some days detoxing helps, other days, nothin'. Some days with normal sleep the heart races, other days I don't get enough sleep and my heart beats just fine. So darn weird.

Also, as far as the doctors tell, I have a normal heart. Normal EKG, chest x-ray, etc... I have some minor valve regurgitation that they weren't concerned with. I have no murmurs, heart enlargement, or high CRP.

The main problem here is there are literally hundreds of things that cause heart palpitations. In the world of Lymes, MOST of the infections can cause issues as well. I'm just curious what is the most common for us in general, in terms of types of infections, and treatments. I know part of the Buhner's Protocol can raise your heart rate, but I've ruled that out.

Any thoughts?

Nilrin have you checked to see if your heart is racing or does it just feel that way.

I experience the same thing. I purchased a fitbit so I could monitor my pulse. I was really surprised that when I feel the pounding my heart rate is actually dropping. Less scary but still very uncomfortable.

It's most commonly associated with Bart. I take Hawthorne.

I used to have heart involvement. Sinus tachycardia in an athlete with a previous <60 bpm heart rate was disconcerting. Holter monitor showed palpitations, but nothing out of the ordinary. The endocrinologist wanted to give me a beta blocker but I declined.

30 minutes before I was scheduled for an ultrasound I applied my first dose of bioidentical progesterone cream. By the time I got to the hospital for the test I was thinking "I am cured". Of course it took more than that, but herbal treatment (Buhner) for bartonella - and especially with the herb hawthorne worked wonders. I haven't had palpitations for a couple of years now, and my resting rate is back below 60 bpm.

I think the progesterone addressed my adrenal issues.

Doxy alone will not successfully treat bartonella.

Oh, and progesterone cream is a new one for me. That looks like some kind of over the counter steroid cream. I didn't know it was used for adrenal stuff.

You can get bio-identical Progesterone cream. Don't get the one made from Wild Yams.

I don't know if you can buy it over the counter in the U.S. Here in Canada I had to have it prescribed by a Dr. and filled by a compounding pharmacy.

Progesterone is a hormone found in both men, women and children. Women have the highest levels - it is needed for reproduction.

When woman go through menopause, they are often deficient in progesterone. Even though the mainstream medical community considers supplementing Estrogen to be the answer because of the decline during perimenopause, the progesterone level drops even more...and women become estrogen dominant.

Supplementing with bio-identical progesterone will reverse the estrogen dominance.
