Lyme Migraine Headaches

Just the further you get into treatment the less and less them become until they are gone.

I love plant based diets. I can't do it because I love my salmon and my bison. Sorry it didn't work for him. I tried Imitrex and Zomig. Imitrex you have to catch that migraine immediately and I would always wait to see if in fact it was a migraine. Zomig gave me a dry sore throat. Finally Maxalt healed my migraines.

BUT these were not lyme migraines. The migraines I treated were pre-lyme. Nothing, including narcotics got rid of a lyme migraines on me. It was treatment that got rid of the lyme migraines.

I did Stephen Buhner's protocol. But, I have an acquaintance and she did antibiotics and she said that got rid of her migraines.

We all are different and sometimes it is just try and see if it works kind of deal.

It is a huge learning experience with lyme and it can be overwhelming. There were days where my head was swimming in information and I had to step away and let it soak in before I could read any more.

I believe that Lyme migraines are caused by the swelling of our brains which creates a vascular issue. In my opinion the best way to solve while treating is to reduce inflammation. The best ways to do that are by taking natural anti inflammatories. My LLND suggested that I take 6-7 capsules twice a day of Nordic Natural Ultimate Omega. It's pricey. The best price I've found is at Total pro wellness. The other natural product is Zyflamend by New Chapter. I buy this from Amazon but it's sold at many places.

I dealt with 20 migraines a month pre lyme until my pcp finally ordered an mri of my neck to rule it out as the cause. Turns out my neck was crushed. I was told I'd need rx pain meds for life and even with Lyme I'm off of them. Heat and or ice will also help. Heat helps blood flow and ice reduces swelling. Both will help your son relax.

For the person getting stabbing headaches in the eye area. Those headaches in a non Lyme situation come from right where the side of our neck meets our shoulders. If you ice and massage that area you should get some relief. So do people on this thread have or suspect bartonella as well????? I have terrible ER type headaches and am positive for Bartonella not lyme. I am getting treated by an LLMD for it right now. If I take classic migraine medicine my headaches get much much worse. Migraines are caused by dilated veins. Bartonella apparently constricts the veins with inflammation. Kind of the opposite effect of migraines. It would make sense lyme does the same with vein constriction from inflammation. I haven't found anything that works permanently except glutathione seems to help with blood flow and swelling temporarily.

Can foot burning also be lyme? I have been getting it off and on only at night. Redness as well.

Also, sorry to get off topic and maybe I should start this as another thread, but jrpsf mentioned that Bart constricts vessels. Do you think this could potentially lead to pressure related numbness? Numbness at night when laying on side or crossing legs? Just curious...
