Hi there Darkchild, I see that this is your first post, so I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to the forum, though I am sorry for the reson you are here, I do hope that you find support and answers to your questions :)
I am sorry that I can't help you out with your question to Asea as I know nothing about
it, but I hope some one here will be able to help soon.
In the meantime I would suggest, if you haven't already done so, that you have a read through the 'New To Lyme' sticky post at the top of the posts page as there is some very helpful information there you will find useful.
There are many different protocols available and the same things do not work for everyone. People here will be glad to give you any help they can, but ulimately it is about
finding a protocol that works for you. Can I ask, do you already have an LLMD or doctor to help you? Do you know if you have Lyme and coinfections, if so which ones? This might help you try and determine a treatment plan.

Welcome Darkchild!
I, too, know nothing about
Asea and ask that you tell us a little about
yourself so we can help you better.
silly sheep covered the bases including asking the questions I would have asked ;)

Thanks for your reply... I dnt have a doc yet as I will not be able to see one untill late next month. I feel bad waiting this long with out doing anything... Its been roughly 5/6 months that I saw the tick bite took doxycycline symptoms (mostly achy joints) went away. However months later got diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my left knee. Then came the heart racing, insomnia, night sweats, heart burn, IBS, lower back pain, nausea, dizziness etc. Few weeks ago I started seeing blurry when I drive towards road signs. I haven't done a lymes test yet but reading all of this makes me convinced.

Darkchild - when you had the tick bite - did you have any symptoms at the time ? - bulls eye rash, fatigue, flu-like symptoms...or did you get the achey joints later on - after you finished the antibiotics?
How long were you on the doxycycline...and what was the dose?
If it was only for 10 days to two weeks, that isn't long enough. Treatment for a tick bite with no symptoms is 4 weeks. With symptoms, then you need to treat until symptom free plus 4-8 weeks.
I also don't know about
Asea.
Is the Dr. you are seeing next month a Lyme literate Dr.? That is who you need to see for treatment.

I quickly looked up Asea - and it's a salt water supplement?
I have not heard anyone with lyme disease using it...let alone healing with that as a treatment. Sorry.
And...we've seen a lot of different things on this forum...

I did I think 14days of Doxicycline. I feel discouraged getting back on abx especially after reading all these things online how antibiitics do not treat it but only make you weaker. I want to be able to use something that wilk help strengthen my immune system as that seems to be key. 1 month is far I just don't want to sit around... Especially as I'm still very unconfortable and my vission is starting to be blurry... 😰😓😥

Talk to your doctor and ask if he/she has any alternative treatments.
There are many out there, it just would be nice if your doctor guided you on to one.

You can treat with an herbal protocol, if you don't want to do antibiotics.
There are several known protocols - here are a few:
- Buhner
- ByronWhite
- Cowden
14 days of Doxy - wasn't long enough, unfortunately.
Antibiotics also work, but not all people with lyme want to go that route.
Many people choose herbal treatments...

Thanks Girlie... I really appreciate all the feedback. I'd read on about
those and keep you updated. Has any of you tried these herbal options? Did it help like for example with this blurry vision? 😳

The herbals treat the infection - treating the infection reduces/eliminate the symptoms.
So, yes, if the blurry vision is a symptom of lyme and/or co's ..it should resolve with treatment - whether that is antibiotics or herbals.
Many of us are using herbals. Some alone...others in conjunction with antibiotics.
One of our Mods, Traveler - has healed a 40+ year infection with herbs alone.
There are others, as well.

How do you deal with the Lyme thoughts.... I find myself to be constantly thinking of the worst, just worrying... I was not this person few months ago... Lyme is slowly trying to steal my joy 😣😣😣I live alone and family is far away... I'm considering moving in with a close friend who understands my situation.

If your friend is supportive, and is offering you stay with him/her - I think that is a good idea....a really good idea.
I'm finally getting over the thinking of the worst...it doesn't happen as much anymore. But, for at least two years...whenever I flared or herxed....I would think something else is wrong with me. I have googled so many diseases...that my mind would go back to those....it's hellish. It still happens on occasion...
Oh boy, did lyme steal my joy. But, it is coming back, slowly...ever so slowly...

She is letting me stay with her which I appreciate as I'm very worried being alone. I constantly tell myself " this is not my thoughts clearly Lyme thoughts " God help me!
Thanks Girlie, u giving me hope... Whoever created this forum God bless you. Its 1:40am and I can't slp... But I'm comforted that you all understand what I am going through and I am not alone... It would get better...

I haven't been taking any extra medications yet except my daily vit C gummies... Well I guess the symptoms come and go huh... Blurry vission had been around for over a week now... I am a Christian and had a moment praying yesterday... Thought I should share.... There's hope!!!!

I too am a Christian and believe in prayer.
Your symptoms will come and go and new ones will come and go.
I found myself worried over each new thing and finally I just said "dumb ole lyme again" when a new symptom came.
