Does anyone lose it?

Oh I am so sorry they cancelled your appointment. I hope you are rescheduled soon. And I would have done the same thing. I walked into my first 3 lyme appointments and the doctor would say "how are you?" and I would just cry. How do you explain to someone that your life is all upside down.

Thank you. My husband has been cheering me up and I've been diffusing Lavendar oil so that seems to be helping. I finally stopped crying. It wasn't just tears it was full on sobbing it was disturbing.
I tear up at commercials that are sad. That was never me.
I think the people on this forum are some of the strongest people I've ever "met". It takes a strong human emotionally and physically to deal with diseases that people Especially doctors can't see or understand. I made my first appt 2 months in advance then the manager canceled it when I asked if there was another date available. So then my appt was gone and I had to reschedule 4 weeks out which would've been today and that's been cancelled too. She finally called back and said I have Tues available

If you love essential oils, I have one I use a lot. We have easy growing rosemary in our area. Very hearty plant. It is ornamental around most establishments here.

On my way to the grocery store a young man almost hit me. It shook me up. On my way into the store I grabbed that rosemary plant and rubbed it in my hands and then stroked my hands through my hair. Instant calm! I learned this trick a long time ago.

I cut up potatoes and sprinkle rosemary on them and olive oil and bake in the oven. Oooooo the whole house smells so good and it clams down a rambunctious grandchild. Yep, the potatoes taste wonderful too.

Same here. I am tearful any time, actually tearing up now with empathy for you. Somewhere I read about when the toxins are released they contain a certain compound that attacks the nervous tissue and causes all the mood issues. Where did I read it? *blank*

But we were created to cry and it is a stress release, right?. I think some of us have learned over our lives to 'suck it up' 'take a big girl/boy pill', etc etc until crying seems very foreign. God wouldn't have given us the capacity for it if we didn't need to use it though, so I just go with it whenever I can. Sometimes I spend a lot of time in my detox bath also detoxing through my tears. *and who knows, maybe we do detox that way, too?

Yes, to keep it short. I could go on and on, but I'll spare you.

Let's just say that I'm surprised I still have any of "it" to lose. lol

edit: the irony of it is that I just spilled water in my keyboard after typing that, then sat on my glasses and totally broke them after I got finished wiping it up. It's as if my life's not bad enough already.

Thank you so much everyone for the kind words! You have no idea how much it means to me. Thank goodness for this forum. Everyone on here is so supportive. When the world seems like they are against you, we still have each other. I just don't like losing my crap like that. I felt like I'll never get healed with the games they were playing with my appt.

In the beginning of my lyme journey it was worse. Once when I was at work, I had to excuse my self to bathroom (a private one) and sobbed for like 10 minutes. It felt good afterwards though.

That happened to me, too....I was still undiagnosed and had tried a return-to work after 4 months off.

Then, another time, a nice, sympathetic lady asked me how I was doing...and gave me a hug...and I started to cry right there in the lunch room. That was embarrassing...
Soon after, I stopped working - and I haven't been back.

YES! OH M.G.O.S.H., I have crying fits that last from 1/2 a day to almost TWO days where I just cannot stop crying, and Im SO extremely sensitive abiut everything...my poor husband cannot say OR do anything right. I want so badly for him to come hold me like a child whn Im crying, but then when He does, I say he's suffocating me....

My ND gave me Holy Basil yesterday to use alongwith 'Anxiety control', by metabolic maintenence. I really need psyche counseling but Ive had to choose how to spend $'s between, dr. Appts, tests, physical therapy, and now counseling....Uhg!

For ME personally, the only thing thats truly helped is having a deep spiritual belief and dependence UPON the One true God, Jesus. Jesus is the best counselor, he listens, is always there(in mind & spirit), & loves unconditionallly
