Anyone use ivermectin? Babesia and all other co infections. Taken safely in humans for other conditions. Many on line and some doctors have used with good results. Amish too.
These cardio, disautonomia, pots, will never stay away on any mount of antibiotics. Had 30 years. But last 8 months afibing all over, lung, pots,nervous system, pulm. emb. ,Once abx , hormones, anti inflammatorys stop ,many bad days, some good, turns into all every one, dangerously bad days, fast.
People in other countries buy over the counter. Here it's doctor pres.

Hi Felix,

I edited your post to put a title on the thread in the hopes it garners more attention.

With the difficulties you've had (and I'm so very sorry), have you ever considered an herbal protocol?

Without abx I quickly develope afibs and lung aspirations, rapid heart rate. On them 90% better. Herbals also, the few Ive tried usually speed my heart. I can't have antihistamines,dentists shots with adrenline, not one drop of caffeine , little salt. No macrolides either or zoles, speed heart, add beats.
Doxy kills hormones estrogen fast. pill form. then bladder kills with pain. I take them sublingualy now. No pain pills ever. I'm limited. Too chemically sensitive. On two bp meds for arythmias and fast hr.coronary arterial spasms, cerebral spams. Arm and legs too. On coumiden , lots of interactions.
Herbals scare me more, they last for days. Q10 almost dd me in, took days to slow down.then licorice, indian herbal popular for arterial spasms. Both extreme heart problems.
Ivermectin has been prescribed by many doctors. But my nervous system is shot. Wondering if others with sensitivity s tolerated it.

I'm so sorry for all you're going through, Felix.

Although, my symptoms aren't severe as your's ...I, too have some nervous system issues...that are sticking with me.
I have the pots (although mild), nervous system shivers - off and on all day (like my body is stuck on fight/flight )...and vibrations through my body.

What have you tried for Babesia? Are you seeing a LLMD?

I had mcs and took ivermectin-bad herx but would have done anything to improve health.
I think it took me a good three months of being on various antiparasite meds for my body to calm down.
It really help-after several rounds with other antiparasite meds.
I sleep much better and am way les nervous-my twitching and itching is also gone

Girlie; you've done way more abx then me. Still you have it. So discouraging. I've had nice 1989 , but few attacks, 8 in 25 years. Sept. 1 hormones too low infection high, CRP high, all hell broke loose. Got worse every week, until jan. not breathing at night. Doctors after 250.000 were clueless. I gave up on them would like to find LLMD in Minnesota , better laws for lyme. My state,il. Not good, no knowledge either .
Since Jan. Just augm. bactrim pulse doxy, earlier clindamycin worked well, too hard on gi . Bactrim works best.starting new sporin soon, worried. Take shaving of med first and work up from there. Longest off abx 21/2 weeks crash and burn took 10 days to stabilize cardiac sypoms, which is vegal nerve mostly, vascular inflammation. Celebrex and hormones more important or as are abx. Hormones boosted my immunity way up, no more mystery sneezing, histamine intolerance went too, can eat fruit again. Still mildly alergic to red meat though, face rash. Lots more energy.lungs way better, no air hunger, abx helped that go away at least. In about 10 days.
Had severe brain fog( don't get that too much) today for 10 hrs . Burnt wires from hair appliance smelled caustic. Right away I felt my head slipping away. I can't take that feeling. didn't know odors could be so dangerous for disautonomics. I don't know what to do for that kind of symptom. Hope I'm not backsliding, had dizzy spells before any abx, months ago. now, Twice recently. I am so ready for a trade in model of my whole self.
Magoo 2 ; which other anti parasitic meds did you try? What kind of herx symptoms did you have? I just get better,usually , so I don't know what to look for.

You may try frequency medicine ..homeopathy and more detox ti get to a point ...your nerves sound fried as mine ..yoh can get iver at horse place ..it got me a little dizzy...

Felix - I have been treating for quite awhile - about 18 months....but I haven't done a full Babesia protocol yet. I was on cryptolepis and sida acute for a few months...but that's it.

I'm thinking of discussing a trial of Babesia antibiotics. My LLND suggested Clindamycin...but I'm not sure I want that one.
I was thinking of Mepron and Artemisinin.

Clindamycin e I thought did a lot for any air hunger., Lung in general. Went away fast , took 3 weeks. , didnt come back. No bad side effects other then usual with possible S-dif. The c-dif chance real high.went away on own. Didnt give any pain though just inconvenient. Probiotics, no match. I may do clindamycin. Again too.
I did the ivermectin, or coarse my heart is racing, 18 hours now. trying to keep it down with what I can. I wonder how long it lasts. Long 1/2 life. Glad you only take one once in while.
Suprax is next after this clears. Wonder if that speeds heart too. Wont take but a tiny piece, too scary. All my many Er visits are afibs or mild heart attacks. But that's from this stupid lyme. I prob. Have carditis too, but hard to spot on scans . Had 4 scans.
I think bactrim is great too, just not longtime cure. . No side effects, creatine goes back 24 hours later, to normal. If doctors would hve listened to me that it was Lyme, in Sept. wouldn't have got so bad by Jan.
I think only good LLMd will be in a liberal eastern state. I'm looking for independent thinkers, who are compassionate for quality of life.looking in NH, Maine. States with treatment latitude too. Mass.
Minn. has good new law, long , long abx. not all docs will do. too conservative thinkers. I would trade longevity for a good life now, any day of the week. Suffering is allowed by sadists.
Wisc. May pass soon, couple good ones there, I've seen on here.dr, john Hoffman in wi. Is a I'm going to help no matter what type. . Is held in high regard by all. Huge patient load though. Some times I think the CDC is in somebody's pocket . How come we can't have help, not resistance to save our lives. If you're a peron that is stuck with bad doc. And scared to venture out, you will suffer, or worse.they don't let dogs suffer, but I guess people are diff.

I only took 3 mg. don't need dizzy. Hr speeding though, can't find how long will last . Don't know if will take second dose. Felt constriction in left arm once suddenly. when started racing. Took channel blocker. This is all too familiar for me.
Ever have suprax? I'm hoping it has no side effects.

I was on ivermectin for 21 days straight, 3 pills a day. Then 10 days off and back to 21 days again. Had some intense itching, not sure if this was actually from the ivermectin or not. Was concerned about stomach issues with it, but i had none.

It's lyme disautonomia. Which pretty much allows the vegal nerve to wreak havoc on everything it touches. Like other posts, I had lyme all life.70s. But 1989, 2012 twice all acute meningitis lyme, tick on only 3 hrs. on one occasion. any contact your in trouble. not treated correctly. way too short. Vegal nerve gave first afib 1989 ,during preg. and when hormones fell right after. once or twice in decades to follow. bladder pain since child. Severe after1989 .
Heart structure good but can't see inflammation. Platelet count went from 320k 420k three weeks in fall. they did nothing. pulm. emb. right after that. Though crp was over 5 . Swallowing many pills of any kind when vegal nerve is jumpy like now from ivermectin is dangerous. Cucumin may or may not bother vegal nerve. Many herbals, all actually, have sped heart via vegal nerve, arythmias too. Heart attack . Vegal is effected together with arterial severe constriction from endothilal damage many years.
So Celebrex, big hormones, simple abx most steady result. When pots isn't on, some days it isn't, I can do anything. Abx stop everything breaks. New things are big problems. I don't have joint pain very often though. By bands even on abx, 41 ,23 . Months ago.
Hopitals don't know disautonomia. They have almost done me in this sat fll. Morphine. 2001 lidocaine. Lidocaine and a bad vegal nerve is death. Sent to other hosp. Immed. I refuse to go to any. Er anymore. Even saline constricts artery s fast, they don't listen. Low sugar ( under 100) get constrictions. That's Disautonomia. Not much help, every case diff. ESP. Caused by Lyme.
If I find on here someone who has this,who got doctor who wasn't instantly confused. I will go there immed. In a state tht allows doctors to do ab. Conn. looks best. I have several good friends are doctors, know nothing, not their fault. Lyme not taught, nervous system (a.k.a. Vegal, arterial ) involvement.
I'm safer at home.
Does anyone know if you reside in one state (il.) but go where that state(conn ) has ins. Says Must pay for lyme treatment can you use that law yourself? Docs have protection there too. Best for lyme. ( In network of course)I was born ct. Prob. Got first in 70s child.

Felix, while i was on it air hunger went away, i came off of it die to the itching. I have been off of it for about 6 weeks and air hunger and night sweats are coming back. I was clinically diagnosed, but taking the ivermectin stirred up something. I have bart also and someone told me the air hunger could be from bart. Im not really sure. So much to get rid of, attacked the bart first and now going after the lyme. Hoping babs doesnt rear its ugly head.

That's awful. When things start returning I declare war. Air hunger is terrible. I used to take 2 Tylenol , they help. Doc can give you anx. Med too,for occasional relief.
I've always taken aug. 2 or 3 (max) a day . ESP. In beginning. With everything else, except doxy, kills aug. effect.
Have they checked your hormones? This is the biggest problem.
Nothing can heal .lyme depletes for men and women. Doxy kills any hormone pills. I did hormones 2 weeks before abx in Jan. to see. Huge. Aleve and celebrex morning and night. At least itake once a day when good spell.
Now I can get stressed way less reaction.no chesttighten.estrogen opens arterys, progestin too.
lungs can get hypertention from constrictions. Clots can follow, like mine.i think my air hunger was constrictions.
That ivermectin agrivated my vegal nerve majorly.getting bp elevations 4 days. Hr too. Left arm hurting from iverm.vegal nerve too. Not same place as constrictions.
Remember Vegal nerve can give you allergy symptoms, sneezing, including itching. Cardio and lung burning.of course brain fog from back of neck into lung is strong. Bladder pain, wth estrogen mine went away. Remember est. is a steroid, huge immune booster.
My vegal calms with cold, it goes through stomach. Sherbert is good, not as fattening as ice-cream. if you have fainting tendencies, don't use, turns down sypathetic nervous system.you have a Left and right. Also. Vegal Nerves irritated in esophagus give air hunger too.also sign of low est. and lyme co infection, more then one type.
Citirus and juices can burn and increase air hunger right away.i only recently went back to some juice. Some sherbets are too tart for this issue too. Any meal that's not small big for air hunger. Too close to esophagus area. I still feel a little if eat larger meal. Rarely do that everything feels bad then.hard on bp, hr.


I hope your doc puts you on something quick that doesn't bother you. Backtracking is not good of course.
Even if you're young, low hormones can happen in lyme. Ask doc to check. To heal they need to be good levels, moderate, not just acceptable. With progestin too.

Also potassium and magnesium huge in feeling better, nervous system lyme. . I take a lot but my levels are still moderate.. 4 times a day, great for falling asleep. No magnesium with tetracyclines 2 hours apart.

Interesting about the hormones, i had a total hysterectomy 10 years ago, i am on a low dose of climara patch, wonder if i need the dose upped. I will have to bring that up to my gyn.

Hopefully they'll help. Frequently you'll find opposition. Male doctors are, in my experience far more likely to comply. The dosage often does not match whats absorbed in serum levels. You could take 60 mg and levels could look like 15mg.Doctors are afraid of risks, rightly so.
To me trying to live miserably every hour is a huge risk. I'm on blood thinners too, plan to stay on. I need very little to stay therapeutic . NSAIDs raise levels easily.my dose is1/3 .
There are kinase herbs of coarse and aspirin To thin blood.
My blood is still low risk for clotting without thinners. Because lyme, when bad ,constricts , risk of small clots, in lung ,not legs.While lyme is active ill take.
My hormones keep all bladder pain gone and soft tissues not irritated. Levonorgestral pretty good progestin. ( In Seasonale). Bad ones, .cyproterone,medrogestone, as can be researched easily ,stated to be much worse on vessels, and risks.
My cardiologist, during one of our many yelling matches with, said my two pills (amount at that time)a week caused heart, she knows nothing of lyme or vegal mediated heart attacks. When she saw my hormone levels were non existing ,all of them, no androgens so no hot flashes just useless immune system.
She couldn't admit being wrong. Like the day I told her I can't breath right, do something. She sent me away. I went to Er ,3 ER in week, and found clots in both lungs, from constrictions that she could have prevented with channel blockers to open everything. I demanded them finally, I would have got them somewhere anyway.
Doctors are wrong too much from the falsehood of an ego persona.
Like I told one doctor twice, he asked me what I said after he wasn't sure he heard me right,. " I said you doctor, are a menace" day before clots were found. It was funny.even though I was so sick.doctors have to earn my respect, it isn't given blindly.
Many just are not smart, they were just good at memerizing facts to practice .
But all these bad things were months before my hormones fixed half the lyme anyway. The first 5 days on hormones not one symptom. Didnt last ,but abx did the same week of quiet. Then they both moderate to livable existence .celebrex helping greatly.
That Suprax I'm trying ,aggravating vagel nerve. Of coarse.
Not heart beat but, severe malaise, strange, but know what it is.those take hours to clear, if they do. Only 100 mg.too.
Ivermectin probably Still in system.
Sometimes best to stick to old standbys. Put up with some bad days, some good. At least same symptoms. My aim is to strengthen immune system , only control. Didnt collapse until 8 months ago.so it was strong enough for 30 years to not do too much. Even after bit twice 2012 , the problem they were all 3 meningitis lyme. Screws brain stem. All I can find to heal coating on nerves in brain is eat animal fat. Great.

I would try the ivermectin if it was me-it can stir up some reactions including itching but that most likely is parasites moving when they die.
I did several rounds of heavy duty anti-parasite meds-about the third or fourth round this reaction diminished and went away.
Parasites aren't good for you-just my take I would get rid of them

It's not for parasites, ( you could ever feel or see) as some may think of that name.They are Some of the smallest bacteria known to man. Though it is used in countrys that have real bug issues, over the counter. Since its said to kill brain cells, possibly long term, it's not offered by many docs. Or short term, even once.

it's for babesia (Protozoa),bartonlla ,(double called bacteria,) possibly mycoplasma(no cell wall immune to most antibiotics contribute many cancers) these are not parasites like a flea. They are sometimes one celled. They would not cause itching, only reactions from immune system would do that.
My heart not having more vegal netve mediated attacks from meds comes first, ivermectin hurts nerve.
Probably Only Helps mycoplasma the most. Many healthy people have, and don't know.
You probably did zoles or flourquinalones ( disautomics cant tolerate)they sure aren't even close to ivermectin.
Chronic lyme is not curable especially in nervous system. I dont believe it is, anyway. havnt read one caseof many years having it, then went away, permenently. best hope is remission.
Nice yours got better though.

Ivermectin is not for Lyme, it is off box when given for Lyme. It's designed for scabies, real bugs you can see. No , that is not Lyme. Lyme is still bacteria with unusual distinctions of they're own. No, not bugs like ivermectin was made for. The two are completely unrelated and ridiculous to compare a one cell organism and a flea.
I'm sorry if you had real bugs in you, not Lyme. That's why it worked then.
