I too have been avoiding caffeine due to the effect on my depleted adrenals - and I'm just now getting them under control, so I'm not fond of the thought of adding caffeine back into my routine, even if it is a small daily amount. Without using the decaf version - which still has some caffeine in it - there are no alternatives that I've found so far. I'm starting Babesia treatments soon, and last time this was a part of what healed me, and it's in Buhner's Babesia protocol as well (which is what I will be using), so I'm not sure what I'll be doing about
that either.
I just found this on Tegreen, which seems like a good product (I was hopeful I had found one I could use!) , unless you struggle with adrenal issues:
"Tegreen 97® is considered decaffeinated for labeling purposes. Tegreen 97® contains approximately 1.5 to 2 mg of caffeine per capsule, which is well below the stimulatory level. For comparison, a cup of coffee contains 100 to 150 mg of caffeine."
