Dandelion Botanicals trustworthy?

I'm looking for a place to purchase Sida Acuta in POWDER form because tinctures = alcohol = bad news.
I found an online store called Dandelion Botanicals http://www.dandelionbotanical.com/bulkPS.html
has anyone else tried them out?

I wasn't aware anyone offered sida in any form other than as a tincture, apart from Monteagle Herbs.

I'm sure there are others, just very obscure, off the grid.

I looked high and low, as I would like to try brewing some into a tea or something to avoid the alcohol as well, and they are the only I managed to come across.

So, it is cool to see another.

Though, they are asking a lot - $9.50 an ounce. That's even more than Monteagle, which was already kind of obscene in my opinion. 65 Canadian dollars (50 ish USD, I believe) per pound.

It might be worth it though.

I would definitely go with them over the Dandelion outfit, on account of both the cheaper price as well as the fact that I have actually seen them mentioned in some of the Lymie circles before.

Let us know how it goes, if you do decide to try some. Go for some of that crypto too. Be my guinea pig. Never met anyone who's used anything but the tinctures. lol

I felt more comfortable using Buhner's recommended sources since it's my understanding that the quality of herbs can vary greatly.

Monteagle is where I bought my Sida Acuta leaf that I ground into powder and then used to make my tinctures. A pound goes a VERY long way and it's much cheaper than buying ready-made tinctures.

For those who don't want to do tinctures, there's always the option of infusions/decoctions and we all know Rowingmom and her daughter achieved wellness with the use of infusions only.

Yep, guinea pigs we all are lol

The only dumb question is the one not asked....it's so very true.

You have the general idea about infusions, luthien. The most important aspect is covering what will be the infusion and allowing it to steep. If you need specific instructions, please let me know and I'll check my reference book. After making tinctures for so long, the procedure is committed to memory lol

I have been putting the powder in hot water and allowing it to cool off before drinking, but i haven't been covering which i will now do.
If it's not too much trouble specific instructions would be great!
