Detox decision help needed - FIR sauna or PEMF mat

I have money for one of these. I'm leaning towards the sauna but I can't decide. Any help would be appreciated!

Nope, never got one. I wanted to try it out before I dove in and purchased it. But I can't seem to find anywhere near me that uses one.

Just curious, what do you do occupation-wise pathogen? I saw your post about the dark field microscope. I have a few antique ones and a dinky new one that doesn't do much. I have a lot at work but I don't do microscopy and I never learned how to use those...plus I don't like messing with something that is worth more than my house. :)

Tried the PEMF today and there are enough real changes in my blood and physical changes that I think Im going to rent one for the month. The oddest thing happened. when I went to look at my blood right before the matt, for the first time I was unable to locate any mycoplasma easily. I really had to hunt them down and there just werent many. so that was disappointing as I didnt have the concrete example they showed in the video to see for myself.

The lady doesnt typically do a full session, just a demo as she says she doesnt want you to herx. But I told her I was a big girl and I want to herx. I also asked her to refrain from any sales pitch while I was on the matt. Surprisingly she was very accommodating

While on the mat I felt nothing at first.. then I felt dizzy and a bit nauseous. Ive had a clogged right ear for over a week now and somehow it started hurting, like pressure and then actually draining while I was on the mat. Laying down usually makes me feel more congested unless my head is very elevated. Odd, but I rejected the anomaly. I also measured the temperatures of my feet, head and hands. I run cold all over, my head rarely gets above 97.9.. I was 97.4 before the matt. After the matt I was 99.0 temporal and my extremity temperature actually went down to 77.1. It was 83.3 before the matt. My hands heated from 94.2 to 96.8.

In my blood this is what is most interesting to me as I did not have the mycoplasma showing as the gauge I wanted... usually the blood will be clean in the spaces between the cells except if you eat or if you have lotsa bacteria. but the bacteria will be moving typically. after the session there was alot of debris in the blood spaces, not moving. I dont know exactly what that means.. but it was an anomaly as I hadnt eaten or drank anything. There were also alot more white blood cells and red blood cells. again, I dont know what to make of this. it is all very confusing... I dont understand how it can be. Im not sure what all of this says other then Id like to experiment more, I think. I also had to go to the bathroom within 30 minutes of the matt. Since Im on the constipated side right now that is weird.

Im waiting to see if I herx. Im still running a fever for me at 98.8. My basal temp this morning was 97.2

I do think I herxed...it wasnt hardcore, but noticable.
My husband did find the mrs2000 info and also researched all the other mats. I like that the imrs complete has the sawtooth and square wave technology. The imrs upgradability is a selling point to me if I decided to make the purchase. I also want the 400 power of the iMrs Complete instead of the wellfit and the pillow and probe. But you can evidently upgrade the wellfit in the future if you want.

Ill definitely update through the month and let you know if I decide to bite the bullet and make the purchase.

Here is a link to a site that is a proponent of Biomats. This website also has links to the Dr. Oz website that has links to information about the PEMF mats. There is a lot of good information on these websites, but you will have to do a lot of reading to get the whole picture. The technologies are definitely different.

I have a Biomat and love it. It sounds to me that both energetic approaches are very good and potentially beneficial as a tool to heal. As to which is "best" I have no idea. I know that the Hansa Center has several bioenergetic approaches that they work with. This is a case where you will each have to do your "homework" and make the decision that you feel is best.

I rented the pemf for a month and diligently devoted 1.5 hours a day to it. No results. None. My husband also did the mat and had no benefit.

I would not recommend this investment. I think the blood differences were due to the amount of attention I'd been paying to hydration . I've empiracly realized the temperature changes are due to increased blood flow to limbs due to laying down. I had the same temp changes just laying down for 30 min and taking temp readings immediately upon rising.

The site listed is where I bought my PEMF therapy device two months ago that was specifically recommended for Lyme, and it didn't cost anywhere near that, about one-fourth that amount. The site offers reviews and information on over a dozen different models for a multitude of ailments/conditions. The $20,000 price quoted was for a professional grade device. That being said, having used this device diligently as instructed for two months, I CANNOT explain how phenomenal my results have been. My expectations have been surpassed beyond anything I hoped was possible.

I first noticed signs of what was Lyme in late 2014 and wasn't diagnosed, despite almost monthly Dr visits and repeated lab work, until late February 2015 by a positive WB. By this point I was quite infested with it and co-infections, but I was grateful to have a dx. Like so many with Lyme, I've taken many different antibiotics, anti-malarials, anti-parasitics, probiotics, herbs, vitamins, etc, some intolerable, some more helpful than others. Like I said, I've been using mine for two months with phenomenal results. It's a whole body mat type, and the first night of use, I slept better than I have in over 15 years. While not all of my symptoms are gone, the difference is quality-of-life altering. I feel like my body now has a fighting chance to help heal itself, and I know I still have a ways to go. Now that I understand the principles behind this technology, I can see myself using this device forever. My husband has used it for low back and other joint pain and now believes in its effectiveness and especially for me.

Sorry to be so long winded, but I needed to get it all out there. If one person can be helped by this information, it's time well spent.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy the PEMF biomat you are all talking about?  How expensive are these things?  I'm curious, is it more beneficial than an FIR sauna?  One last question :)- is PEMF similar to Rife?

I've used both the biomat and the solopad and felt like I was getting more from the solopad. I purchased one and love it.

Hello, I am researching PEMF mats, please tell me how they detox the body, briefly?

I know how sauna does, through sweat. But PEMF is supposed to help depression, not sure how it detoxes.

I have heavy metal issues. I am not sure if a PEMF mat would help.
