Chest discomfort/pain is back

Since Jan 2015 I have had off and on chest discomfort and pain on my left side. Was to the ER a number of times In Jan and Feb 2015 to just be told nothing is wrong with my heart and can't find what would be causing it. Also 6 or more EKG in the last year. Was hoping it was just something to do with muscle in my chest or ribs as when it acts up seems mostly fine intell I move my shoulder around or stretch my left arm. This past Monday night it was back and the worst it has been along with the pain being felt in my back near my shoulder and spine area. Since then I have had a dual discomfort to a tightness in my upper left chest along with a much higher heart of 80s-90s beat/min when I have always been in the low 60s at rest. I did start on atovaquone this past Monday and thinking maybe that might have something to do with it. Does anyone else have this kind of chest thing going on? Not knowing if its the heart our not freaks me out which I'm sure doesn't help with how I feel when Im worried I'm going to tip over at anytime.

My heart involvement was scary. My pulse would get up to 115 and I thought I would have a stroke. I never did go to the hospital but the doc did ekgs and I was fine. Just a very rapid pulse. He wanted me to do all kinds of heart meds, but I begged him to let me try to get it down on my own. He is my MD and I did not want to tell him I was going to try herbs first.

Hawthorn, Motherwort and Japanese Knotweed got mine down. I have no idea which one but I really think it was a combo of the 3. BP is great now and so in my pulse.

I had the same problems, also with tests coming back negative for everything heart related. I can attest to what PetaZa is saying, I took the Hawthorn and Motherwort when my heart was really bad and they worked about as good as a beta blocker, and in some ways better.

Carp-Have you had an echocardiogram done? That would rule out damage to the heart muscle from the disease.

I've had the same issues. I've been testing it recently and I've found that when I treat heavily for Bartonella the chest/heart issues increase. I purchased the newer fitbit HR and found that when it hurt or thumped the most it was actually lowering my pulse back to a more normal pre Lyme rate.

I've been doing IV ozone and I did a double pass on Thursday. I did this because I wanted to make notes prior to seeing my LLND this Thursday. The double pass is a lot for me to handle and my chest heart a lot. Thursday night was really tough yet by mid Friday my blood pressure and heart rate were better then they had been on Weds.

If you are treating for Bart keep at it. If you are not, speak to your LLMD.

Neil spector had the same...my chest pain is all over ...brady tachy and bundle branch block ,enlarged heart show that it is in the nerves ...bart or borreliosis? ..maybe rikky will chime in....i did some iv curcumin and had some relief for 3 days...the iv ozone in the port is hitting some thing ..i think it is bart in blood vessels and not sure abx can get strong enough there...i heard you can frequency it 2x day with herbs and get a foot hold on it...remember if they cant cut it or precribe it 4ever most docs dont care...

I have been having the same problem since Jan 2016 - chest pain and heart beating really fast. Seems to have been a result of doing too much over the holidays. I am now finding some relief since I increased my magnesium and added coQ10. The added benefit of coQ10 is that it gave me a little more energy along with quieting the heart symptoms. I hope you find something that helps you too.
