Hello all, hoping for some direction here..after 4 months on amox, serra and pulsing GSE my son has now been switched to Rifampin, Hydrox, Azithro, Atovaquone, pulsing Metronidazole 3 days per week, Mylan-Fluconazole once a week. My question is we started only with Rifampin and Hydrox. Day 1 jaw pain was so severe we were in ER for pain relief (have always been able to manage pain relief at home), Day 2 he tolerated and now Day 3 he has tolerated. Would you now add in Azithro today or wait? I don't want to overwhelm him or end up back at ER. He is on heavy probiotics as well as many supps. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

I would give it a few more days...and up the detox. Is he doing a lot for detoxing?
Maybe start half dose azithro....for a week, then go to full dose.


So, he's on Mepron and Rifampin together...i have read that Rifampin can reduce the effectiveness of Mepron.

Also plaqunil and flagle both workbon cysts. ...but its quite a cocktail. ..its like he is going after all 3 b...

Yes I believe he is going after all 3 b's at once, we were giving the option of addressing one at a time, but my son wanted to try it this way first. Thank you both for your responses. I know we are def not doing enough for detox, will try and convince him to do more. I will read up on the Rifampin/Mepron combo. Thanks for noting that.
