Hi Dlev!
Welcome to our community! I"m so glad you found us.
If you haven't yet, it would be helpful for you to start with reading through the thread at the top of the forum titled,"New to Lyme?...Start here!!", as it is packed full of important information, symptom lists, helpful links and pdf's, how to detox when one has these infections, information on probiotics and much more. And this is another good list of possible detoxing routines:
www.tiredoflyme.com/detox-methods.html Some people need to 'stack' their food with their abx - eat some of your food, take your abx, then finish the meal/snack.
Also are you detoxing? Most of us don't realize that we aren't detoxing enough, so I would encourage you to take a hard look at your detoxing routines. You can do a forum search (be sure to use the word Lyme in front of any other search terms to help limit your results to only the Lyme forum), to find the posts that are talking about
what we do for detoxing - or you can list your detoxing routines here and we can help you evaluate if you are doing enough. I've listed a really great list of detoxing routines above if you need ideas.
Become a label reader to find what has sugar and what doesn't. While they aren't the most nutritious, plain ole saltine crackers don't usually have sugar in them.
Many have olfactory (smell), auditory, or even visual hallucinations and sensitivities. I'm one of the "lucky" ones that have experienced all of those types. They do go away with treatment.
Also, you didn't mention any probiotics, are you taking any? Most need at least 50,000 units a day or more to help combat the effects of abx that we use.
For the nausea, you can try ginger tea - fresh ginger of course works best, but even powdered ginger will work for many. You want to build up to about
2 - 3 tsps in a cup of hot water - sweeten a bit to help get it down (I use stevia, it won't mess with anything).
And no worries about
any confused posts!
Many of us go through that as we try to navigate how to help heal our bodies. As long as you don't mind questions, we'll get it figured out!!
Please do let us know how we can be of help!!
