Another question Traveler......I can feel like complete crap like I did yesterday. (Mostly body aches, nausea, flu feeling basically. ) If I make myself go for a run I feel waaaaay better the rest of the afternoon. At least better that I was before the run. Why do you think that is? It seems backwards, I would think it would make me feel worst but it never does. Is it a detox thing maybe????
Running gets our blood pumping, and the oxygen intake increases, and our muscles get worked quite a bit, so there's a lot going on. Oxygen kills bacteria, even the Lyme, Bart, and Babs bacteria (
stubborn little buggers that they are!), and the muscles being worked will release more toxins, and the blood moving strong like that will move the process of detoxing along quite nicely.
But if your body has trouble detoxing, it just might be that it releases too many toxins for your body to detox out quickly enough to keep you from feeling it with symptom increases.
For some, that much movement alone will overload their bodies with toxins - I know for years, that was the case with me. But since it was making you feel better, then it started being part of what was making you feel worse, I would think that you are dealing with what I laid out first - it's an overload of toxins because your body isn't detoxing well enough - and combined with the herbs, you are reaching the bacteria that was still left in your body from the abx use.
Now, I want to clarify, because we have people using only pharma abx that I do not mean that pharma abx will not get all the bacteria, but in this instance, I believe it had not been given enough time or the right combination of abx may not have been used. I don't know all the details, but I do know that many who "finish off" with herbs often have this type of response.
