Question about Eye Sensation that I can barely explain.

Next time it happens, take a wash cloth that has been in cold water and hold it on your eyes.

I had eye pain and horrible tearing and this was what helped me. It also helped with the annoying eye twitch but the floaters have always stayed.

So sorry you are experiencing weird symptoms with your eyes. Do you have any other associated eye symptoms? Can you tie these episodes with any other symptom or change in your protocol? Diet? Environment? When did they start?

I have weird symptoms with my eyes but not as you described. I think you might be on to something regarding the "restless leg" type action--especially since you say it is more frequent at night, when your eyes are more tired. So perhaps this is a neuro issue exacerbated by fatigue. Have you been to an ophthalmologist? I'm sure there are very few familiar w/ lyme & co but as usual, might be a good idea to rule out the obvious things they CAN advise you on just to be safe.

Throughout the day I occasionally have stabbing eye pain - literally makes me gasp. Doesn't happen often except when I look sideways every now and then. Based on other simultaneous symptoms, for me I think it's related to a yeast/fungal issue (yeast roots itself into tissues by drilling holes, so, I suspect that might be causing the stabbing pain) or perhaps a biofilm.

I've experienced tracking problems, focus issues, light sensitivity. I've had that thing where light causes blurry comet tails (street lights, my phone, etc). And then of course floaters.

In the lyme world these symptoms are not "odd". We are in the same boat.

Well you know I'm dealing with it, pretty bad.

Deep down, because I caught lyme "early" (started treatment 2 months after symptoms) and then felt 90%+ better but all of sudden started having severe candida/gut issues (from treating the lyme), I hope the systemic candida is the only thing I'm dealing with now.

However candida is no pic-nic either by any stretch of the imagination. I know a lot of symptoms over lap and I had that almost full recovery period but then a drop off but it felt different. It didn't feel like lyme.

And then of course it was obvious it was systemic y/f.

I was also going to suggest magnesium. Magnesium oil is a good thing, you can rub it around an area that is bothering you (like restless legs) and it will help calm the muscles and nerves.

Sounds like a miserable symptom though. Yeesh. Could you ever have thought of such a thing as that before now?
