What dose of Serrapeptase to take for biofilms? Is 250k units too much?

Hi all, I'm about to start a week of biofilm buster before I add in abx and anti protozoals for Bart and Protozoans.

I bought this Serrapeptase:

120,000 units per capsule. Would one capsule twice a day for a total of ~250k units per day be considered a very high dose for biofilm disruption? What's considered too high or where other side effects like inability to clot blood, etc is an issue? Thanks!

Serrapeptase should be taken on an empty stomach for best results.

I take the same kind as you do and I do 1 capsule once a day in the middle of the night.

I am not quiet sure that the dosage amount of serrapeptase is the issue as much as breaking biofilm is more the issue. I was on 6 @ 40,000 serrapeptase daily for about 8 months. I have seen others at the clinic on up to 12 a day. I found the real issue was "what lies beneath" the biofilm. Bad stuff is harbored in biofilm so busting it releases it into the open and too much too fast can cause liver/kidney function issues. It really needs to be monitored by a LLMD/ND. It made me really sick couple times. It is really important to bust biofilm though! I really think it is one of the keys to why people stay sick.

I also use the same Doctors Best High Potency capsules. I take 1 a day as directed early am. When I started taking this several years ago I may have bought a lower dosage and took more capsules per day. I try to cut down my pill count as much as possible.

This is also one of several supplements on my "questionable" list to decide to drop from my protocol based on return on investment as funds dry up. I use to occasionally switch to Doctors Best Lumbrokinase, but that was more pricey.
