Lyme or not? Please advise.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2008 at age 29 after being sick for several years.
I recently got 2 live blood analysis done because it was suggested I may have lyme. Both people said I showed spirochetes and co infections.

I went on to get the igenex test. And my results were said to be negative under cdc. My positive results:

Under IGM-41, 66 & 83-93

Under IGG, 41

Could I still have lyme and co infections making me so ill? I am proceeding as if I do based on my symptoms but what do you all think about my above results and the 2 analysis? I do not want to get hope if this is not going to possibly help me.

Symptoms: insomnia, upper neck and back pain, full right side body pain and nerve issues, facial pain on right side, panic disorder, leg pain,right knee pain, extreme fatigue sometimes i feel flu like,

I have seen RA docs and Neuro's. Nobody can find anything wrong with me.

My doc in st louis works with this type of case all the time.
here is what he treats
parasites
dental infections-such as root canals
food allergies
heavy metals
nutritional deficiency
If you fix this list you usually just get better

Right, but lyme could also describe this and as described above I am asking for input on lyme and co infections.

Hi Marys,
Yes, those results could mean you have Lyme, especially combined with your symptoms. A good LLMD will look at both to help determine if you do.

Sounds like you've been sick awhile - I feel for you. Since you've been sick awhile, your immune system may not show a strong reaction on the western blot. But you had some reaction. I would pursue it.

I agree with K07 and think you should see a LLMD.

Hi marks2012 - welcome to our community!

I agree with the others that you should seek out a LLMD.

Your test, although not positive showed a positive on band 83-93 - which is a lyme specific band.

We can help you find a LLMD - start a new thread titled: "Looking for LLMD in/near_____" and fill in the blank with where you live...or the nearest larger city "

It would be helpful for you to take a look at the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?..Start Here" It's packed full of good information...
