I finally got my results...what do you think? My Llmd has me on Zithromax, probiotic and diflucan to start

I am glad you have a LLMD. Has she talked to you about diet and detox?

Well...congratulations on the positive Western Blot. It sucks to have lyme...but if we do have it...it's nice to have the positive test result IMO.

You've got a LLMD, some meds...and now you need to make sure you're detoxing regularly - multiple methods.

Sounds like you're set!

Why is combining Zithromax and diflucan a bad idea? On top of the Lyme, I have Candida.

It might be a good idea to give your doctor a call if you have any heart issues.

Many MDs prescribe Diflucan when you don't need it. Do you currently have yeast/fungal symptoms? What are they?

Welcome to the community and congrats on overcoming the most challenging part of the process - the diagnosis - and having it be so clear cut. This give you access to anti-biotics as an option, which is WONDERFUL. Deferring to the troopers in that I am only 6 months into my own journey. Welcome! May your recovery be rapid and all the things you need for support show up at exactly the right time.

Dans good you have a diagnosis. You could be significantly better in a few months or much longer. It seems the norm that you could be at this for quite a while so don't get discouraged if you can't seem to shake symptoms even after many months. These are very persistent bugs and it takes a long term strategy and diligence to prevail.

Thank you all so much for your support. I know this is going to be a long journey. I have had neuro problems for a few months now. Fogginess, brain tightening, tremors, clenching my teeth. I can't focus all the time. It has been extremely difficult. I have two little boys. I just want/need to feel like myself again.
