Have you had an mri on it? I was having horrible pain with it 2 1/2 years ago (my right upper arm/shoulder) It would radiate into my neck, etc., I went to a orthopedic surgeon and he said it was probably a torn rotator cuff. I told him I'd had that in there before, it felt more like a bone spur, and I pin pointed the problem area just to the part of my upper arm facing forward about
4-5 inches from my shoulder joint. The MRI showed both.
I had extensive reconstruction of all the muscles and tendons, they were shredded, including a screwed in biceps muscle which I've since popped. I never fully recovered strength and ability to use that arm for much of anything without a lot of pain, and I think I have a new bone spur on the other side of it.
I'm not going through the surgery again. Like everything else, this just appeared out of nowhere. I wonder about
the Lyme connection too now.
The pain went between the feeling of an aching tooth, to as if someone was trying to rip it from my body. Excruciating.
