Constant Bad Air Hunger

Has anyone had this to where from the time you wake up you are gasping for air? It gets worse while eating and after eating. I think its eating all my food. I know its a Babesia symptom but mine is so bad I think the Babesia is even eating my probiotics. I gasp even after taking those. That with Ungodly head pain, pressure, ear pain and pressure. I feel like I am detoxing every single day but symptoms do not improve. My eyes hurt and are very blurred. The other thing is everytime I feel a detox starting I get shaky. I still havent started herbs but you would think with the detoxing I would be some better. The other thing that I have a hard time explaining is that it feels like something big is alive inside me. I know that sounds crazy but at times my head and body area feels like something is like trying to raise up or swell in my entire body. I also keep losing weight and nothing will stop it Im waiting for my doctor to get back to me but has anyone ever experienced this? I take valproic acid 250mg, naltrexone .20, (started last night and was ok), feels like it may help a bit. 1oz of lemon water every couple days which detoxes me, chlorophyllin maybe 5mg or less every couple days and it detoxes me. Thats unheard of as my capsules are 100mg. Im trying to stay positive but dont know what to do.

Sorry you are going through so much with this. I'm really thinking there is more than just the babesia going on here. Possibly other co's/ yeast/ fungus overgrowth, parasites, thus increasing gut issues and the shortness of breath. These things just absolutely wreak havoc. Have you had an endoscopy? If not, you may want to consider this. Also, have you done any stool testing? This is something else that you want to consider. This can often find parasites, bacterial overgrowth, tests/fungus. What about your thyroid health? Often the thyroid is effected with Lyme/co's. A hypothyroid state can also result in shortness of breath. And lastly, consider testing for small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). It is a breath test. You can use the search feature to find other post regarding this test.

With all of the symptoms that you list above, I would be cautious to just limit this to babesia. These other overgrowths can also eat away at whatever you are consuming. Yeast/fungus, SIBO, etc., can also cause weight loss.

How does your stomach feel after you eat? Also not to be TMI, but if you are seeing food in your stools, you are short on enzymes (which can be effected with all of this), you may want to try digestive enzymes or you can start with also take (1-2 tbsp) of acv before you eat. See if that helps. You want an acv with the mother, such as Bragg's brand.

Overall, you may just need to rule out some other things so your treatment protocol can be effective and you can begin to feel better.

Great! I'm so glad that you've had most of the tests that I suggested. But I do have a few clarifications. Your SIBO test, did it test for hydrogen and methane? Are you doing anything for the abnormal results? For the thyroid test, did you test TSH, FT3, and FT4? Can you post your results?

Can't remember if you are taking Pinella and Burbur for detox. I think they would both help.

Perhaps reducing the detox some, especially if it is consistently asking you feel worse. Your body may need a reprieve.

So shakiness is Babesia? Do you mean tremors when you say shakiness? ...or internal shakiness?

Cryptolepis herb helped a lot of my Babesia symptoms. I was up to 16 drops a day then ran out and it took forever to come in. All my Babesia symptoms started coming back. The head pressure, headaches, off balance feeling and nausea were getting bothersome. Got the herb in and just 1 drop is causing die off. Have to start all over again. But even the 1 drop for a few days, quieted down these symptoms. Definitely recommend this herb for Babesia, as does Buhner.

OMG, your symptoms sound just like mine. I just demanded an O&P test (plus a couple of others) from my GI, but haven't gotten the results back yet. My air hunger, head pain and abdominal issues are so bad. I have been avoiding gluten, dairy and sugar, and only seem to be getting worse, not better. My vision is now starting to go blurry too.

I am currently taking Flagyl and Malarone. The Dr just added the Malarone to see if it's possibly Babesia I'm dealing. Only been on it one week, and have not noticed any difference yet. I eat and eat, like a pig, but continue to lose or not gain weight. I started at 152 lbs, now I'm at 110. I too feel like there is something big and vicious living inside me. It's horrid. My intestines are constantly moving around (you can visually see it) and grumbling loudly, whether I've eaten or not.

If I find anything out, or anything that works, I'll let you know. Please do the same for me.

Im going to also increase my good foods to help clear out the yeast and parasites...celery, cucmber, almonds, more lemon water. I gotta get well.
