Make sure you're not drinking too much water. You want to be drinking a lot, but not A LOT. I don't mean to scare you or anything, but a person can die from over-consumption. It's like, you flood your cells with water until they burst.
Though, the more real possibility is that you could be washing out things that your body might need, such as vitamins and minerals.
Let's say you just ate, then drink a ton of water, that could slow digestion and nutrient absorption.
Again, I'm not saying you should drastically cut your intake, 'cause we do need to drink more than the average bear, but that maybe you should consider the possibility of drinking too much, and that water alone won't really do much in the way of toxins. There are toxins that it just doesn't affect much.
I drink a crap ton of water, I don't think it does anything significant.
Saunas are very good, but.. again, like.. do it right.. similar to the water, with too much going in, you could have too much going out of you via sweat as well. I worry about this myself. I've been told that it is good to "remineralize," but I am not really sure how much of an effect the sea salt I use after has.
Also, with the saunas, there's the possibility, or rather fact (I mean, raise your body to a certain temp, the body start to die, right), of you simultaneously adding to the toxin load. Isn't the sweet spot for sauna temperature like 120 F? The bacteria are gonna be angry beavers. Granted, I think you detox faster than they die though, 'cause I always feel better after being in the sauna. Still, take it slow.
It sucks.. I know, but you really can't rush anything..
Chances are you'll just end up screwing yourself over, trust me. That goes with anything in life really.. not just Lyme and whatnot..
Anyway, sorry if this post is a mess as well. Just a reflection, I guess.
You and I, two peas in a pod. But.. I guess there's everyone else here too, so.. maybe we're more like kernels of corn on the cob? Watermelon seeds, spit out by life. Haha..
You keep pushing though now, alright? We'll see each other a few months from now, and (hopefully) in better shape than today.
