I'm sorry you're not having luck with the local hospital...but that is the way it is with lyme disease...unfortunately.

OK thanks. there is one person it looks like in the ILADS database that is part of my hospital system. I will be contacting her for a 2nd opinion.

Currently, i am working with my existing primary care and trying to get into Infectious Disease. I hope that isn't a train wreck as I read that everyone else experiences with misdiagnosis.

this weekend was truly a struggle, i never have felt so alone with this, and have been seeing dr after dr for 6 weeks now.

I doubt if the ID Dr. will consider Lyme Disease as a diagnosis...so be prepared for that.
..And please don't stop at that - continue on to see LLMD for an evaluation.
