All the people who used to post in this forum years ago and are not here anymore what happened to them? Did they get better and just left, or they got tired of the forum? I hope they cured themselves... so if anyone knows would be great to share the info.

Trav is still here ...i wonder too...after lyme lyme lyme for a year i am sick of being sick ...i have pm a few vets on other forum . A few still battling ..one is skin n bones another took levaquin for 3 yrs ,and some are mcs and emf sensative , one her mom emailed me saying she died and good luck...if i have to do this for 3 to 5 yrs and no improvement than options will have to be considered ... some tried every abx combo and are still sick ...check microscopy on ln...some use for support and cant afford tx ...money withiut income will runnout eventually soon ...phioph goes back to tell how mhbot saved her ...brussels and six say photons helped them ..tf swears it was burrascano style doc put her in remission ...i hope to pay it forward one day...or wakeup tomarrow ...

We need to stay positive and think that people get better and get busy with their lives, so they do not come here. I hope at least some of them are cured and enjoying life.

Hi Robbie,

I don't post often but once in a while I do check this forum and wanted you to know that I have been healed for over 10 years without any relapses! I used alternative medicine which worked for me and because I believe we live in a toxic world I still continue to detox, eat as healthy as I can, etc.

So please don't give up hope okay?

Robby, I got bit and healed. I did antibiotics for a month, then Beyond Balance and then added in Buhner's protocol.

I did most of it on my own and was grateful for the direction of this forum because I was such a newbie.

Deejavu I just read your link. In there you only note 3 herbs that you took to get better. Really were there only 3? If so, that's not a healing story....that's a miracle.

Artermix ..i hear you ...i see muscle wasting and lack of circulation .the twitching has started and i am how do i heal from that ...the dizziness omg ...i am interested in the jernigan products ..thanks deejavu

Having been here as long as I have (LOL! crazy, huh?), I have seen and talked to many that pass through this forum. Most that are no longer here have healed, but they did not wish to 'revisit' their struggles with a "Hey! I'm healed!" post because they just wanted to move on with their lives and forget that they had ever been here.

Unfortunately, some have just moved on though and some are still so sick that they no longer post - there are about 6 people that come to mind immediately.

Many others just drop off and there's no telling if they are healed, or if they have just moved on not needing the support and connections that are formed here.

It takes an unusual person to wish to stick around to continue to post after they have healed, as it requires us to relive the experiences over and over again as we read through others trying to explain what they are dealing with. For me, it's a kind of therapy, as I was left with PTSD type reactions to many serious complications that I had experienced during the course of my illness.

As you know, this is a scary and disturbing illness to get through, and for many of us it's the most ill we have ever been - and then left to figure it out on our own!

What I can say is that this community has always had some of the most awesome people that come back to post after they have healed, and we have some of the most awesome people that agree to stick around and help out after they have healed either by just continuing to post, or volunteer many, many hours weekly as a Mod.

Truthfully, my age now is a big concern to me if I can even get moderately well again. I have no idea how old any of you are on here, other than a good guess about Traveler based on her age at onset plus the 40 years of struggle, and then relative cure time frame.

I got this, I believe, when I was 35, and now I'm 65. Only last year did a Dr. begin to put me on abx for it, but what limited help it gave didn't last. Trying to do this on my own like I am is far from adequate, and so much damage has been done, I would almost have to be institutionalized with 24/7 treatment and diet to turn this around.

Is anyone else here this old and trying to heal yourself? If you don't mind saying so.

Julymorning - have you heard of Dr. Martz?

He is in Under Our Skin videos. Have you watched them?

Dr. Martz was diagnosed with ALS - I believe he was in his 60's - and had tested negative with the "regular " labs...and then heard of someone who had treated their "ALS" with antibiotics for Lyme Disease and had gotten well.

He then tested positive through Igenex and was treated with abx and is well now.
I do believe he remains in abx because when he stops, his symptoms come back.

I watched it, and I teared up once again to hear someone list my symptoms (some of them), even though he was said to have A.L. He was doing well in 2012, but still on abx and said at that time he would be for the rest of his life? Good that he is a physician and can find ways of supplying his own.

I hope he is still doing well. He's the kind of man I'd enjoy having as a friend.

Yet of course here we are 5 years later and his hopes have not been realized with the Medical or Governmental communities.

Jane, I think you're referring to Sayyadina? (may have spelled that wrong)

I didn't think she was a teenager, though.

She is the one who had animals to take care of - was it Alpacas?

I don't think she's been on for quite awhile...I don't know how she is doing.

As far my using botanicals each bottle I used contained many herbs in one bottle that were tested.

Artermix- keep reading the buhner book. Yeah it starts out that way, but I've found his work the most inspirational of all because ultimately he leaves you with a couple ideas that can be explored nearly endlessly. If you read his other books you will see that Lyme is not so advanced. Just another infection that we've underestimated. We are not hopelessly doomed to it, we just have to change the way we think of treating these infections. Buhner offers some real unique ideas to start
