Who gets them swollen lymph nodes after a big herx?

Just had a multi-day herx that knocked me flat out. It's died down but now them lymph nodes are backing up. My troublesome spot is behind my right knee. Anyone else get this? Mine seem to happen a few days after a big herx.

I always get them after a big herx Rikky1, usually right behind my ears, they swell up quite bad.

I'm not sure what a big herx consists of. I imagine symptoms that make living a normal life difficult if not challenging.

While I am very fortunate that my herxes didn't really impact my life too much, I most definitely had swollen lymph nodes on and off during my time on abx.

They were not only those in my neck but, in my groin.

Once I learned about Red Root, cold showering and lymph massage as methods to mobilize and clear lymph and used those detoxing methods, I no longer had the issue.

I usually get enlarged lymph nodes during a herx, and it can be any of my lymph nodes, but usually concentrate around the lower jaw/throat area. As soon as I realize that it's happening, I start lymph massages, as I take red root daily anyway.

Painful and swollen lymph nodes in my neck, armpits, and groin usually. They seem to be popping up in other areas too now.

I've had a couple of swollen lymph nodes in my neck for about 2 or 3 years. I just very recently discovered that I could have Lyme and have slowly began to treat it. I notice that when I feel particularly bad, the lymph nodes are very swollen and then when I do my detox stuff, the lymph nodes start to get smaller as I start to feel better... I have no idea how the lymphatic system is connected to Lyme, I'm very new to this.

cd a big herx to me is basically roll up in a ball and do nothing but pray to God that it passes so you can go about living again. its where you don't care about anyone or anything in the whole world and if it doesn't stop you would rather die than deal with it for any length of time.

Forgive my dumb question, but what is big herxs

I believe i'm still in the diagnosed longtime lyme sufferer. nothing else fits.

always, my herxes light up the lymph nodes behind/under ears.

Mine is lower throat area. The doctor felt them yesterday and said they were a tad inflamed. Sometimes it hurts to even turn my neck. But it is getting better. I really think me toughing it out with this monolaurin has helped a lot.

great to hear things are improving for you Krimpet! things are getting better on my end as well as I continue treating. Progress is slow, but it is progressing.

I had a swollen, sore clavicle lymph node...quite early on when my lyme symptoms appeared...but I didn't know that's what it was.
Whenever I flared or herxed (after treatment started) - it would swell even more...and be so very sore.

At my first LLND appt. - I just 'happened' to ask him about the 'lump' and he said it was a lymph node.

After over a year of treatment (a few months into my bart treatment) - it subsided.

Since then, it's come back a couple of times...for a few hours...just to say "hi" and remind me how horrible it feels.

I think mine was from Bartonella.

i'm almost positive that's whats causing mine swollen nodes as well as it started after i first treated bart with rifampin/cipro combo. my LLMD was crazy giving me both at the same time no wonder it put me in the ER!
