nbabz.....did you see the score of your ELISA test? where was the numerical value? Mine came negative but when I check the value was within the "inconclusive". When labs have inconclusive they score it as negative. A fallacy indeed.
Also if you did not have a Western Blot I would if I was you. An LLMD would test you for both. Sometimes if the ELISA is negative the western blot is positive.
I tested a second time 2 weeks apart from 1st ELISA test and both test were positive.
try it again.
Or pay IGENEX for their test it is still cheaper than some dr visit consultation.
Hi Artemix - my value was .217 - It had to be .9 or higher for a positive test. I wasn't sure what that meant and could not find any type of range to go off of when I googled.
They will not send it off for the Western Blot since it was negative. Hoping I can get the IGENEX test at the end of the month - hubby and I have to go over everything to see if we can afford it.
