Looking for LLMD in New jersey

Good afternoon, I am trying to located a LLMD in my area that deals with pediatric patients. I live in Sewell, New Jersey. My 9 yr old son recently tested positive in Igm 41 and Igm 23. Also Igg 41 positive. The doctors are all saying he is not positive but my gut is telling me to dig deeper. It all started in June when he woke up and as unable to walk. After an MRI which showed an effusion in his hip, they decided he had toxic synovitis. With rest, he was walking again in about 3 weeks. Since then he has not been himself. His appetite has decreased. What use to be staple foods to him he says no longer taste good. He can not remember anything. He has chronic headache/migraines that completely put him out of commision. He is just not himself. He currently has pneumonia and has been sick for about 12 days fighting it. I decided to request all his lab work from June and that is when I saw the reslults of the Western Blot test. I feel like I am going in a circle. I can't seem to find a doctor who deals with lyme disease. I really would like another opinion. If anyone has suggestions, I would be open to just about anything. Thanks

I'm so sorry your little one has lyme, but am glad you found us here.

I have my Igenex lab results in my hand and band 23-25 plus 41 is a positive.

It would help if you edited your title of this thread - and add need LLMD in NJ.

I think the tests are mostly wrong. On the WB I had 41, 18, 36, 64, 93 and was told negative/indeterminate. I had symptoms and full bullseye. No question I was positive.

My son's labcorp says Positive: 2 of the following bands: 23, 39, 41

i@ K07, Yes, it says Lyme Igm Wb interp is positive. Two ID drs said negative and pediatrician said negative as well. The only one concerned was orthopedic who said she was not up to date with lyme disease and referred me back to pediatrician. They stated it was a false positive and could be a number of things and were not going to treat at this time. He had a tick bite with a bulls eye a year ago and was treated with 4 weeks amoxicillin and had western blot done about six weeks later and Igg 41 was positive but all others negative. The doctors said that was even more confirmation that this new test was negative. I just do not get why it would be negative. The only thing I can think f is no one wants to take ownership.

As frustrating as it is, I'm not so sure it s about ownership. I'm convinced they really have no idea about this disease. It is extremely complicated, intricate, and tricky. He needs an LLMD. I now understand why they are so expensive. They have to know so much about every bodily system, every co-infection, herbs, tests that work, tests that don't and mainly when to take a leap of faith and treat, especially a child, when the tests are usually false negatives. Not to mention that you have to be pretty sick before the correct antibodies will even show up on a test. SM, you are in the right place and there are many very wise lyme angels that will come to help you. They have really navigated me through the labyrinth.

The bulls eye rash cleared up with antibiotics and the symptoms subsided. He has had many migraines but also wears glasses so we have been back and forth to eye dr changing his perscription in his glasses every 3 months or so this past year. I wasn't till this bout of pneumonia that I have started wondering if all related. With him not being himself all summer when kids are usually having a blast, really got me thinking and trying to put it all together.

plus, with initial bulls eye, he had a fever with migraine and body aches which is why dr treated for 4 weeks. initially was only going to do 2 but i requested longer.
