Moved from Rhode Island to Arkansas- will a new doctor write me a prescription?

I had an excellent LLMD in Rhode Island who began treating me in December 2015. I recently moved to Arkansas and need to find a new LLMD. In the short-term though I need to find a doctor, any doctor, who will write me a prescription for rifampin and cefdinir. I have been without the latter for a few days now and can already feel myself declining.

Any suggestions for how to go about doing this? I have an appointment with a university health center tomorrow (I am a graduate student at the University of Arkansas) and I am wondering whether I can calmly explain my situation and even try to put them in touch with my LLMD in Rhode Island. Any chance that succeeds? If not, what do I do?

By the way, if anyone happens to know of LLMDs in Arkansas, SE Missouri or NE Oklahoma please do drop me a line.

Won't your previous Dr. write you a script until you can get another LLMD?

Girlie, I checked my favorite online pharmacy, ReliableRX, but they do not carry it. I think most of the meds they carry are generic. I have ordered quite a bit from them over the last 6 years and have been happy with the service and product. I usually just get abx and diflucan, vit B12. They may carry other types of anti-malarial though.

Bluelyme - I don't think I can get Alinia here in Canada.

I have checked out some online pharmacies and they don't ship to Canada.
The ones that do didn't have Antimalarials. But, I may not have tried Alinia.
