I did IV chelation. Ultimately, it worked for me ... but also my appendix ruptured. I can't confirm or deny the 2 things being related. After all, I am pretty sure I had some form of Lyme/Mycoplasma infection at that time and didn't know it.
I took a more conservative approach in the last couple of years as I was only about 1/2 better when the appendix blew.
Check out the Chris Shade mercury protocol. It was tough and I had to go very very slowly, but ultimately, my levels are really low now. It's called the Qube and takes like 3 months for one round? I did 3 and by the last one I had no side effects at all... so kind of knew I was done with it.
We rented a house that had a mercury leak in the basement from moving the gas meter. Didn't know it, but both my hubby and I got very, very sick with this problem.
Scary that your appendix ruptured. How do you think chelation may have possibly caused it?
I am actually on Biopure Microsilica right now, which is the same thing as Shade's Quicksilver IMD. I take a scoop of that in the morning followed by 1/2 tsp of haritaki, B vitamins, selenium, and a pump of Biocidin LSF for biofilms which may be holding onto mercury. I also take 2 caps of Vitaspectrum multivitmin/mineral later in the day. Been doing this 5 days on, 2 days off for 4 weeks. I made this protocol up because I couldn't find the other components of the protocol (Clear ways, Quinton Hypertonic etc) without getting them though a practitioner or they were just too expensive.
I'm looking into the IV cheation because I'm just not feeling better. I was thinking maybe since my levels are so high (100 on the DMSA urine challenge test, anything over 3 is considered abnormally elevated) I need the quicker option.
