I read that new moons and full moons give off 'bacteria' and those with lyme feel much worse. New moon and full moons have power for three-four days before and after. Tomorrow is a full moon eclipse (so super powerful).
QUESTION: How many of you are feeling worse this week?
Trying to test my theory. I'm extra tired, not sleeping well, have a fibromyalgia flare up, possible head cold and my ankles now hurt. All sounds worse than it is -not terrible but noticing it.

I don't believe it... just my opinion. It makes us look like crazies. Lol. ... but I respect who have a different opinion bout it.

I don't think the moon gives off bacteria. However, I do believe in the power of the gravitational pull of the moon. Obviously it is there - we have tides.
3 days before a full moon I would get feeling low. BUT!!! I was affected by the moon prior to having lyme. With lyme it was more intense.
Yes, I have felt this full moon coming and feel all of them. I also am very affected by barometric pressure. A storm leaving would make me feel low on energy.
Low on energy would make me very susceptible to illness or injury.
When I was taking my herbs I NEVER took a new herb close to a full or new moon or near any storms.
It would have been too much for my body to handle at that time.
But, that is me.

Coral and probably other things spawn with moon cycles. I wouldn't put it past this silly bacteria.
I have noticed I'm consistenly a little more symptomatic around new moon, and have been slightly dizzy for the past 2 days.
If I were pulsing on a 1 week on, 3 weeks off I'd time mine to the new moon cycle.. :)

I actually have not noticed any difference this week other than a lack of motivation. But I know many who do feel differently and I have had a few months where it seemed to affect me, but it seems like it was worse 3 days before.
Are you tracking your symptoms? That can be very telling. With me I always feel much worse with symptom flares when I don't sleep well. The question is why do I not sleep well at times! Lol

Huddie, you kind of have 2 posts about
the same thing. I posted in this thread:

Sorry! I was asking about
symptoms and noted the eclipse and then decided to make it into a separate thread. Sorry to duplicate efforts.

Interesting. Maybe that explains why I was feeling so crummy last night with extra swollen lymphs.

Full moon never did anything to me (except maybe want to howl at midnight).
That said , I'll keep my mind
open on the moon thing.
But just remember, beyond forums, this is one of those things that make lymies appear crazy to no-lymies. Even most LLMD's would doubt this, and shake their head to themseves.

But that doesn't change the reality of an increase in symptoms for those of us that do experience them - but still, a good warning that maybe we should be careful to not tell everyone that we feel worse with a full moon! LOL!
Also, some do feel the effects during a New Moon as well. When I was at my worst, I had increased symptoms during full and new moons. It doesn't leave much time in each month to not have increased symptoms!!!

Disclaimer: I would never say 99% of the things that I say on this board, in real life. It's why I come here. When people ask me how I am I say that I am fine.
My mom was in ICU for a time and the nurses there all confirmed more ICU and ER patients during full moons.
Something to it for sure. But along with politics, religion and lyme - not discussing at dinner parties.

I have to agree with 1000daisies. My niece who is a nurse says the same thing. And when I worked in retail we used to joke about
the crazy moods people would have around the full moon. That was always when the crazy demands would happen. I can't explain it, I just know it happened.
It doesn't just happen to Lyme folks!

Prove it with graphs - made me laugh.
By the way I think many different people get different things. Certainly not exclusive to lyme, just wondering if anyone noticed changes in symptoms.

The full moon just makes bacteria ad parasites MORE ACTIVE, that is why it is not a bad idea to up the herbal dosages if you can during that type of moon phase.

Consistent worsening of symptoms around the time of a full moon. With treatment what I call "pain flares" seemed to lessen, except this month, hit me hard. I have read that some parasite cycles are attached to full moons. https://www.healthtalklive.com/reference-center/parasites-in-a-nutshell/

I am really noticing a change in how I feel this week and I can't think of anything to blame it on except this special Harvest full moon we are about
to have. My Babesia symptoms really flared up. I was bedridden a few days ago and am slightly better but not great. I have not been that sick in over a year! My sleep which has gotten considerably better in the last few months has been worse again the last few days. Counting the days until it's over.

This is a more powerful moon because of the eclipse. Astrologers believe that it holds the power of three full moons. This moon is powerful because it is in Pices and reveals secrets and things hidden. Lyme hides. Also think of Hillary's health secret. Wonder what else will be revealed.
