Strange symptoms

I have treated for 9 Months and come a long way. No abx. Ozone, some herbals, vitamins, supportive supplements. However, Within the past 6 weeks I get these awful attacks. Sometimes they last 3 or so days. Then Ill get a break for a few days and then it comes flooding back. At first it felt like a severe hunger, like my body was raging for something. (I was physically full) It would cause me to feel flush and really mentally out of it. Im talking I was so weak from these episodes. Then it moved in to a severely thirsty, brain doing crazy things, jolting awake at night. And then it goes away like it never happened. Now its back. We ran blood tests and everything came back normal. Doing one more to test ADH.
What does this sound like? Sometimes I will feel static-y in my legs, cotton brain, and severe moodiness during these times.
I just started rehydration drops to help, I am so uncomfortable while this crud is happening ): It was so nice to have a 4 day break. Now its back.
I am on Argentyn 23 daily for lyme. I am highly sensitive so just upped to 1/2 tsp twice a day. And I am suppose to add in Artemisinin 100mg for babesia and work up. But I'm afraid to start the Art with how bad I herded last time on top of this issues.

I am wondering the same thing. Like right now I feel so out of it, and like my body is screaming for something. Its just crazy Ive never heard anyone say this as a symptom but we can't find anything else wrong to cause it! Im assuming its not major since its not 24/7... Like this morning I was perfectly fine. Super tired but nothing out of the ordinary. Then it hits me.

Yes I have. My symptom list has gone from 35-40 symptoms to about 5-6 I think.

Just start really slow on the art. Sounds like you have capsules. Do the capsules allow you to open them, if so, toss 1/2 of it out and start there perhaps once a day.

Great! And it does sound like babesia. And don't feel bad about starting with even 1/4 or 1/3 of the capsule. I've done teeny weeny starters on some things.

I started doing 'rounds' of Artemisinin in May 4 days on, 10 days (or is it 11? ) off.


The first round I did:

Day 1 2 caps x 2
Day 2 3 caps x 2
Day 3 4 caps x 2
Day 4 4 caps x 2

I slowly increased the amount on each round..and then on
Round 6 - I did:

Day 1 4 caps x3
Day 2 4 caps x 3
Day 3 5 caps x 3
Day 4 5 caps x 3

I herxed on Day 2 and 4 on round 6

I did less on Rounds 7,8,9

I have the 100 mg capsules.

BHD - are you going to only do a few days of the Artemisinin...and then break? Our intestines can produce an enzyme that kills the Art if we stay on it too long.
There are differing opinions on how long that is. The shortest time I read is from LLMD MR (Seattle) who says take a break after 3 days on.

I took a touch over a 1/4 of a 100mg capsule at around 830. By 9:30 I had SEVERE nausea and really didnt feel well. Brain going in and out for about an hour then subsided. Do you think it was hitting something that soon?
