I've been interested in headaches for quite some time. I've had them, cured them, had them, cured them. There are many things that can cause headaches and it seems everyone can have a different cause. The causes of my headaches were caffeine withdrawal(BHMT++), not enough melatonin production(reduced SAMe), and too much ammonia build up(altered GI flora). Since everyone is different, your cause may be different but with Lyme, ammonia build up and inflammation are common causes.
I've seen people who had headaches because of dehydration, photophobia, glutamate toxicity, hyperammoniaemia, increased CSF, and vascular damage from ROS. These are the names of the conditions but they are caused by differing things. Figuring out the physiological dysfunction is the key to eliminating headaches.
Good info Georgia Hunter. Thanks.
