Yolanda on News - 9 months of antibiotics did not work

Yolanda and her children have 'people'. They stay at expensive venues, someone does their hair, they get massages, someone cooks for them, they get pampered, they fly first class, they don't have to line up like everybody else...............and they have no privacy. They are targets for criticism and harm. I like my privacy.

Yolanda has a fully equipped hospital room in her new condo. The doctors come to her. In her previous house, she had a massive walk in refrigerator with sliding glass doors filled with amazing food, baskets of fruits and vegetables......I like my room and my bed. I want her fridge though. Hahahahaha.

I could go to Paris as well if I had people hahaha. But I don't want to go to Paris. I feel for everyone who has Lyme. It is no picnic. Whether you have someone carrying your Louis Vuitton luggage or flying on a private jet, you still feel like crap. I am not giving up my Ford pick up for any of that hahahahaha.

David Letterman got Lyme building a tree house for his son. Richard Gere couldn't turn his head to read his clock one morning. There are many more. Google famous people with Lyme, or 25 famous people with Lyme. George Bush Jr had Lyme. This disease has no favorites. The great equalizer. Young and old, rich or poor, all races and genders.

I always knew that I would get sick some day. I never thought that it would be a tick that took me down.

I believe that Lyme can be transmitted in other ways. Not just through a tick. If we think about it too much it will drive us crazy.

I had dinner this summer with a pathologist who told me that the white footed mouse carries the Lyme bacteria which is transferred to the tick through attachment. When he shared with me that the Lyme bacteria remains alive in the urine of the white footed mouse for a period of time after the mouse has voided, his wife shushed him and the remainder of the evening's conversation was Lyme discussion free.

I replay that conversation in my mind and it still makes me shiver.

Poor Huddie. I know what you mean when you say that you wish that people would tell us the truth. Sometimes the truth is hard to hear. Sometimes they don't know the truth. Sometimes people say things that they think they understand and due to a lack of communication it doesn't pan out. And sadly, some people speak for others and things get muddled. Not here though. This Forum is the real deal.

My husband often says: "Sorry, too much information. I need a Lyme break." I understand where he is coming from.

We are going to be fine. All of us. One step at a time. Baby steps and before you know it, there will be a massive thread with the heading: LYME FREE.

You will all find what works for you and your loved ones. We are putting in the time and the effort. We shall overcome.

The mouse and not the deer. Isn't that something to digest for a minute or two. I have heard people say that we should cull the deer. Oh my goodness. Then where will the ticks look for their next meal? The poor deer carry such a heavy burden of ticks on them. I have a picture of a deer with over 800 ticks on it about it's head and on it's ears.

Google ghost moose. In Canada and in Maine the calves are dying from too heavy a tick load. The story is heartwrenching.

Cats don't get Lyme disease. Another news flash.

Christy Brinkley has Guinea hens on her property. They gobble up ticks and their eggs faster than you can say uncle. She used to get ticks on her while horseback riding. She gives the chicks to her neighbours. I am so happy that my sweet mare Rosie isn't alive today for me to worry about her getting Lyme. She crossed over at 35 years of age a few years ago.

The Possum is gaining renewed respect. They can put the Guinea hens to shame for the amount of ticks and eggs that they can consume.

The study of ticks gives new meaning to the expression 'knowledge is power'. They are here to stay. We just need to educate ourselves on how to protect ourselves. And on what to do if one latches on to us.

There is always a tipping point. Something is going to happen sooner rather than later. The time is near.

As far as a hospital room, we moved the dining room furniture into the parlour, and moved my bedroom into what was once the dining room, right off the kitchen. I have a birds eye view of all the goings on and anyone who wants to jump in for a cuddle is free to do so. My dog mostly does hahahahaha.

Yes, my husband and I do feed off of each other's humour and crazy ness to the point where the kids have to tell us to stop.

Our motto is, if the list of what we like about each other remains longer than the list of what we don't, were ok.

Oh, wait!! I just remembered Kris Kristoffersen. He was being treated for Alzheimers for two years prior to his Lyme diagnosis. He is now back to writing songs and performing.

What?! Cats don't get Lyme disease?? My barn cat was diagnosed with Bart And Lyme just recently! There is a heck of a lot better testing for animals than for people- always has been.

Huddie- Thank You. Yes, after my barn cat accidentally scratched my daughter- and she shortly developed cat scratch on her arms and then it just turned into a major body itch -and she got Bartonella after that - I knew the cat had something going on and sure enough, he had Bart ANd Lyme! He is an older cat and having kidney problems so I am not treating him with ABX. I am giving him a black walnut parasite, andrographis concoction aa well as, diatomaceous earth and colloidal silver in his drinking water and I put it all over his fur like a wash. He is doing a lot better- not so "spazzy" Thank You for your well wishes!

ya'll realize our bodies are made to deal with stress.....death, bad relationships....sickness trauma. Imagine what someone in Syria is going through, then mirror the life of Yolanda Fosters with theirs.
And while I am sure that all those things you guys listed might have a minimal 0.05%-1% influence on an already taxed body even when you removed them all....what make us sick is a frigging 1 million years old bacteria that outsmarts us....yeah...

I do not have Yolanda Foster money or fame, and like me, most of you here in this forum....all I have is ME and what is left (or will be left) of my brain after has been drilled by spirochetes. I hate that all her money and 9 months of IV did not placed lyme in remission for her....you know why I hate that? Because it makes our hopes even smaller....and smaller.

B. why would outdoor cats NOT get lyme if other animals do? Every Spring almost all Vet places where I live in rural area have a billboard with the words "Come in and get your pet tested for Heartworms and Lyme" their is NO discrimination in the type of animal- especially in rural areas, dogs, cats etc are usually outdoors a good while. Mine is totally a outdoor animal, so he is and has been exposed to all sorts of things throughout the yrs., that is why the life span of a barn cat tends to be 5 yrs,. unfortunately. I LOVE my Munchie ( that's his name) so much that I want him to live as long as possible, so I am extra careful and very vigilant with him when I see him not his active self. I took him to the Vet and he got tested there and yes, ABX was given including a shot for fleas, but because he is old and his organs aren't all that strong, I have decided to treat him with herbs....I must be doing something right because he is looking better, more active and has been jumping way up onto our second floor balcony daily and watching life from up there! I love him.Lyme and all.

Good question. I was always told that cats were not susceptible to Lyme disease. My vet has mentioned something about a resistance. I bought into it.

There is a need for an update in publications. Cornell for one.

I have been doing iv abx on the kitchen table ...buzz there are vets on lymenet that have been battling for 20+ years ...

dr k would be sweet i wish i new him in santa fe but he got outed for doing bee venom as part of his therapy ..with the infamous klinghardt cocktail.. his autonomic testing is cool.but if i could still ballroom dance i would ...**** yolanda im glad she is a advocate ..i talked to a lady who also has made lyme herbs for 20 years and said its like cancer once you got it you got it ...trav and phioph may disagree .but in the forest i can see no light ...
