I don't think I've ever seen anyone post about doing high dose vitamin c IV to reduce EBV titers. I've read a lot about it, but was just wondering if anyone has done it or considered it.

I'm taking a decent amount of vit c, but not throug IV. I ended up taking acyclovir to get my way ward EBV under control. I started in Dec of 2015 and just stopped a few days ago. EBV kicked my butt to the ground for years and had no idea what I had. I found my weapon in acyclovir and now it was my turn to kick EBV to the ground. My life is getting better day by day with him out of my lifetime . I hope it sticks :)

I thought antivirals were merely static and not cidal?..does lysine or lomatium or venom kill or keep from replecating ..iv done a lot of iv c ..watchbif you have g6pd ...but also i understand it converts to h202 in the blood at high enough levels ..having done that too iv it lyses blood cells hut does not kill borellia and if ebv or cmv it intercellular viral invection i doubt it touches it ...venom maybe by way of lysis also idk

Your body can only absorb so much vitamin though....I always wonder about that.

How much vit c do you guys take orally?

I'm on Famvir to try to get EBV down. Will be 4 months end of Oct. Looks like most stay on it close to a year. I think the goal is to beat it back down and hopefully free up some immune system to keep it in check.

im starting vit c and antiviral iv next month. at the clinic im at there is a lady who's tried just the vitamin c for her EBV (ivs) and feeling alot better.
