Hello again,

So, my doctor just gave me my medical Cannabis card. Here, the dispensaries don't really help you with how to choose what works for your symptoms.

When I visit my dispensary, what do I ask for? I do not want to inhale anything.

Are you looking for pain relief, sleep help?

So, are you wanting the high CBD, low THC from hemp (what Dr. Murakami and Dr. Sapi used in their research for killing lyme)

Or, are you wanting the high THC, low CBD from marijuana?

I do not want the THC. I want it for Pain and sleep. High CBD. I don't want the high.

So CBD oil is what you want.
And confirm that you want high cbd oil, and low thc.

Also - what is their source? It should be food grade hemp not industrial hemp.

The CBD oil I purchased was like a sticky tar in a syringe (without the needle) and the dose was measured in 'grains of rice'.

But, I think others are more liquid - and you use a dropper.

According to other patients, the people at the local facility are not too knowlegable. I know of another facility in Auburn that, from what I understand, they do everything on site. Grow/process/etc.

I called the Green Cross (here in BC ) - they are the supplier for most (if not all) of the Canadian CBD oil users.
The Rep there gave me this place for getting it in the U.S.
He was very knowledgeable about the Hemp...

Also, ask the question: Is the source food-grade or industrial...you do not want industrial.

Sorry for my ignorance as this is new to me. But do you need a card to buy high CBD oil? I bought some once online but not sure if you are taking about the same thing at higher dosages. Or do you need a card just for the high THC?

you can get it online - without a card.

But, I don't know about the facility that LymeTrez is talking about.

In Canada, we can now get marijuana easily. The marijuana dispensers provide a Dr. who will write up the necessary paperwork you need.

In the US you do have to be careful - be sure it's legal in your state. It's not in mine (yet) and I won't buy it because using the mail makes it a federal crime, and here in Arkansas, they can take your property, vehicles and all belongings until it's proven to be something other than cannabis. Then, good luck getting everything back.

I would encourage anyone interested, in doing a site search on here (search button is at the top of the page, same blue bar as the log on/off button is) and entering the words, Lyme cannabis hemp, as it will bring up all the conversations that have happened on here about what to use, where to buy and more. Although Girlie clearly knows some stuff!! LOL!

Supposedly, but if they get wind of CBD oil being mailed, they will confiscate it and everything you own first - then worry about testing the product. So I won't risk it.

Medical Marijuana is coming up for a vote in November.

I really hope this works for you! I've been on CBD for a little less than a month and am noticing some fantastic results. I really do feel as though I am being cured by this, not just that it's making me feel better. It's slow and steady but since day 1 it has helped with my pain levels and sleep quality. I completely agree with Girlie that you want to make sure it is organically grown, harvested and processed cleanly and it is from food grade and not industrial hemp. I also did not want any kind of high and do not experience anything like that from this. I've heard from other that they experienced nothing at all from it, so I don't know whether that is because it wasn't the right time in their healing process or that they got an inferior product, but give it at least a month to see how it goes.

While waiting for it to become legal here, I believe strongly in it's healing power and have done my own research into using it for medicinal purposes. I do know that we have to "awaken" the receptors in the body when we begin using Cannabis/hemp. So we need to use it more than just a couple of times before we will have any idea if it's going to help. For those that don't seem to notice anything at all, I would encourage trying a different strain, and using it a bit longer.

I'm far from knowing a lot about this, though. I know bits and pieces - enough for me to understand it's medical benefits, and a bit more.

Girlie, I guess they don't have any thing better to do! LOL!! I just know that I'm not going to risk every thing we have just to try using hemp oil. LOL!

Does anyone know of a good brand of CBD oil? How do you tell if it's "okay" in your state? My state has approved medical cannabis for certain medical issues (lyme isn't one of course), so I wouldn't be able to get a prescription for it, but I'm wondering if I can order something online.

Check your state list of 'acceptable' conditions for the use of cannabis, if Fibro, Chronic Fatigue, pain, or other symptoms that you have may help you qualify.

Yes, you can order it online. I believe (?) one good company is Bluebird botanicals.

I would definitely check into CW Botanicals.

I got this information from the Vancouver, BC dispensary - Green Cross.
Green Cross is where us Canadians get the CBD oil for Lyme.
You can call them and speak to the fellow who runs the place (not sure if he's the owner...but a very knowledgeable guy)
I got hold of him at the Kingsway address...but you need to speak to him. The receptionists really don't know anything.
