Sissy, rather than trying to sleep, try just laying very still and not moving around for 20 minutes to just 'rest'. That's how I started out doing power naps. It can take a while to get the hang of it, but I make sure I'm in a quiet room - not completely dark, but no bright lights/sunlight either, and quiet music to concentrate on so my mind doesn't race on all the other things that I can think up. LOL!
Be sure you are comfy too - comfy clothes, not too warm or too cool.
