How to get antibiotics cheap???

Hi guys, I am trying to figure out how to get antibiotics cheap at walgreens because i won't have insurance for a few weeks. Any ideas what do you guys do? I just have a needy meds card and im trying to pay for a months supply of azrithomycin.

Before I was awarded disability and Medicaid, I went to a county health clinic. Dr's in the surrounding communities volunteered their time for free, and all prescriptions were $2. Either the clinic had them, or they sent you to the hospital pharmacy with a voucher

If you have a prescription, is there are health clinic like that near you? Social Services should know.

Get the app GoodRX on your phone. You enter the prescription you want to fill & it gives you prices at various pharmacies in your area that you can get using the GoodRX coupon code! You have to show the pharmacist the coupon code on your phone. Walgreens is always one of the choices for me but it also gives me prices you can get at other nearby pharmacies such as CVS, Target, Walmart, etc. I don't know why the prices vary so much. I wish I knew about this before because my insurance wouldn't cover azithromycin beyond 5 days. I paid a pretty penny out of pocket for a one month supply. Good luck!

Without GoodRX I paid $175 at Walgreens for 60 azithromycin tablets. That was with some discount that the pharmacist found Otherwise it was going to be over $300. I just looked at GoodRX & could get that amount for $47 at Walgreens today with their coupon code. Fortunately I'm not on azithromycin & my insurance is covering what I'm on now.
