She's probably referring to it being IgG.
With most infections IgM usually means active and IgG means an old inactive infection. (After treatment, the IgM converts to IgG)
But, with lyme, IgG can still mean active...but generally an older infection.
I'm thinking maybe that could be the case with Bartonella, too.
And...the Dr./Nurse practitioner don't know that..since they aren't lyme literate.
Hopefully others will be on to give you more information about bartonella antibodies.
One round - meaning a few weeks...is not enough treatment...
