Tooty, how have you been doing lately? I just started BV injections. up to 3 stings today. last week I had a large Herx reaction. Previously I did 5 months of antibiotics and then after 2 months off, it all came back. I am now done with an additional 2 plus months antibiotics and adding the BVT. Curious how long this takes to see a difference. I am otherwise about 85% but really need a push to get me over the line. My lyme was in my central nervous system, heart and joints.
I would like to hear your current status. Thanks
Hey Cyrusthedog! Welcome. Boy, it's been a while since I last posted. I'm glad I am signed on to this thread, otherwise I would probably not have seen your post. BVT has helped me so much! But, I need to clarify that I have also been continuing my antibiotics at the same time. BVT seems to be hitting one thing, and the ABX another. I was making improvements from the beginning of April til the end of June with the BVT (but very slowly), but since starting Levaquin for Bartonella-like organisms (BLO) or Mycoplasma the end of June, I have been making greater gains. Not huge gains, but big enough to make me fairly functional again. I'm still not out of the woods by any stretch of the imagination, but I am able to participate in life again.
I have hit some turbulence over the past 6 months, but seem to be heading in the right direction. Recently I slacked off the BVT and I started going back downhill. So, a couple days ago I got back on the BVT wagon. 5 stings on Saturday, and 5 again today, and I don't feel like death now. My protocol is every other day unless I'm feeling too badly...and 5 stings per day is all I have been able to handle so far, except I did do 6 one day a while back. I'm aiming for 10 stings per session, but just have not been able to get there yet.
I believe this is the most promising of all the natural protocols for Lyme disease. I have yet to hear of another natural modality that works as well as this, and believe me, I have heard about
and tried nearly everything else. But, I don't subscribe to the belief that it has to be bee venom and nothing else. BVT is not a panacea. There are some pathogens that it doesn't cover very well, so you need to supplement or use other antimicrobials at the same time, whether it be herbs, rife, ABX, etc.
I'm looking forward to you being the next success story!
