My initial thought to the increased pain in lower legs , is muscle tightening and vascular interference.
Lyme and other tick diseases damage the vascular system. Our legs being the furthest from our heart (as well as hands) can suffer from this. Circulation isn't as strong sitting as it is when we're walking, etc. Plus the very position of sitting, at least with me, doesn't help due to legs being bent at the knees and pressure applied to the area above the back of the knees from what we're sitting on.
It's common to especially 'feel it' once we begin to get up and walk again if we've been sitting for awhile.
I went through a period of time a couple of years ago where I could not walk when I first stood up, the pain was pretty that noticeable for a few moments and my first few steps were rough.
All I can suggest from my end is increased detoxing, including your skin, to help.
