Neuro lyme? Extreme anxiety and depression, loss of executive function- organization, planning

Does anyone have these symptoms? I haven't worked in 7 months.
My current LLMD isn't sure what to do. Most recently tried some meds for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.
No improvement.
Need an LLMD who has seen many cases. Will travel. Has anyone worked with the doctors in NY?

I need a turning point..right now i want to die. Please help.

I have had some really bothersome brain issues myself. In fact just the other night, I was having so much confusion, anxiety, disorientation which then caused crying...I knew I needed to detox but I could not think enough to figure out which detox would be better. I had so many brain symptoms but also overall felt awful. That is where the confusion came in...which detox? Couldn't sort my thoughts, thoughts would wildly fly in and right out before I could make sense of anything. Extremely frustrating. finally my husband brought me burbur and pinella in some water. Within minutes the crying stopped and I could start to think again.

Have you tried the burbur and pinella for the brain things?

Also, I have a name of a dr in NY that comes highly recommended by me ilads dr. He wanted to refer me on to another dr to get IV treatment because I have been without my voice for 8 weeks now. He gave me the name of DR C. in NY and DR J. in DC. I chose dr J because traveling into ny from where I am is just slightly more difficult for me than going to DC....traffic wise.

Please know that everyone here wants to help each other. We are here for you when things are at their lowest point too! I totally understand the wanting to die thing. I have never felt that way before I got lyme, it is very hard to deal with, and it is frightening how often it happens now. It is caused by all the toxins built up in your brain. Know that is will pass when you are able to clear it out of the brain. When you are at your lowest please keep on going!! You will get better! You will get through this! Just keep swimming!!

I also know that when I get in that dark place I don't know what to do to feel better. After the last incident, I decided to write down (on a large piece of paper where I can always see it) what my strategies are for dealing with those times. So in my brain confusion I can know what to do in an emergency, and I lessen the stress of the confusion my brain causes me when I am trying to help myself and can't figure out how to do that.

For me the things I wrote down are 1. detox with burbur/pinella 2. remind myself that this isn't me talking it is just toxins in my brain 3. remind myself that I will get better and this will pass. 4. just keep swimming!!

Give yourself a huge hug! You deserve it right now! You are brave and you are strong! Always remember that!!

I think you are absolutely right about the ammonia in the brain. Burbur/pinella was an absolute life saver for me!

I wish I had known how effective they were back when I was in serious need for detoxing help! I would have been using them too!

Mold, metals, Bartonella or babesia. Consider those. My neuro stuff has started to clear on only a week of rifampin and mold detox.

I've had the extreme anxiety and panic attacks - they're horrible.

I would encourage you to start to include more detoxing routines though - most of us don't detox enough, including me. Here is a link to some really good, effective detox routines many of us here use:

when symptoms flare up, i found activated charcoal helps the most.

on longer term i'd say the most important things you can do, besides taking the lyme treatment, are:

1) sleep.

neuro symptoms are caused by brain inflammation, sleep turns off many inflammatory cytokines and boosts the immune system all by itself. i'd do whatever it takes to get the adequate amount of sleep every night: melatonin, magnesium, omega 3 before bed, ashwagandha, and if u still cannot sleep, i'd ask your GP for some real prescription sleeping pills, and take them when needed. also limit caffeine intake in the afternoon/evenings.

2) diet

you may want to try changing your diet, remove inflammatory foods like gluten and dairy, and limit sugar intake, try this for 2-3 months and see if you feel any better. careful with diet, you may need to supplement things or else you will start losing weight fast, for eg take protein powder (i do hemp protein), calcium (if you dont eat dairy) etc.
